Oni, I agree with you all the way except the mystery dungeon part.
It's a new and exciting storyline, at least for me. It's my favorite game so far.
Sure, it has some flaws, but then again, lots of good games do.
But if the sequel has a similar storyline, I'm not sure I'll enjoy it as much..

Anyway, nintendo doesn't really care whether it's a good game they're putting out there or not..They only care about the figures. And if I remember correctly, DP sales were huge, so unless sales decrease, I don't see Nintendo improving the quality of the pokemon games..

Gosh, this feels so small comparing to your rant.. xD

What are you going to get/have got? Explorers of Time or Explorers of Darkness(PMD2)? Why did you pick this/intend to pick this?
 
Ibuberu, I think we've abused this topic.. It's been discussed many times here and in separate threads.

I'll answer anyway...
I don't have a specific one in mind.. the only thing that's different is the version exclusives, which don't really interest me.. so whichever I feel like getting.. if I ever do buy this game xD
 
I already pirated Explorers of Darkness, and gave my friend the ROM for Explorers of Time. I haven't played it much, though- I've been busy with other stuff (breeding Mudkips and Koffings, for one).
 
Ahaha, sorry about that, I couldn't think of any other topic ^^;;

I'll be getting Explorers of Time if possible, I have Pokemon Pearl and Palkia, so I thought that I might as well get Time and Dialga. (:
 
lol as a matter of fact, there isn't anything Pokémony we haven't discussed here so it's only natural that certain topics come up more than once...

I dunno if this has been discussed or not, but:
Are you gonna buy Pokémon Platinum?
I'm guessing most of the answers are gonna be yes.. but I'm asking anyways xD
 
I, more likely than not, will be getting Platinum, when its released. I got all of the Generation 1 and Generation 2 games about the time they were released, and I had Ruby and Sapphire not long after they were released, either. The only ones I weren't able to acquire were Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen, of which I ended up owning, down the line, anyway. I actually own an American version of Diamond, which I acquired around the time it was released in the US, but left Pearl until it was released across here.

To be quite honest, the European DS game cases look a lot better than the US ones; even a bunch of my US friends have said as such. XD But as for if I wait for the European release of Platinum, I'm not entirely sure. It really depends on how long they take on releasing it, because in all honesty, I'm kind of sick of these "Japan ---Few Months---> US ---Half a Year---> Europe" release schedules.
 
I've gotten myself Yellow, Crystal and Emerald, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to get Platinum, I'm hoping there'll be loads of new, interesting functions/events <D

I like how DPP sounds in comparison with the other two. XD;

What I'm more curious about is how they're going to call the trio in Japanese... especially with adding on Puratina makes it too long.
