Yes, all Isshu Pokémon will get their English names once they're revealed.

I've also decided to make the starters all Dragons. I know it's somewhat overdone; but, I don't want to do the Grass, Fire, Water tradition.

The starters are now:
Dratini
Bagon
Gible

I've chosen these 3 since they're all Dragons, belong to different regions and all have 3 stages on them. So the evolutions are consistent. I'm going to lower the level for evolving though since 55 is way to high for Dragonite, 50 is okay and 48 is just lower than both. So, they'll all evolve about 40-45-ish.

All starters were devilishly hard to train at early levels. Does this means that you will also alter the experience that they need like in Genesis?

Oh, and also, Gible would have a slight disadvantage being a Dragon/Ground while the others are Dragon/Flying (They share one thing though: Being cursed with 4X Ice Weakness).

I may alter it's type so it's not cursed with the weakness or not being able to be on par with the other's flying type.

All I meant by level changing was adjusting it so they don't evolve at an annoyingly long point in the game. I might alter the exp. but I haven't currently planned on changing it yet.

No, I'm not, that'd be cool though. I just remembered, "Oh Dragon is super-effective on itself." Plus, the chain can't really be broken, until the final forms at least. But, the chain really only matters for the first (maybe 2nd) forms.

The Good:

The youngster sprite along with Trey's are pretty badass, especially Trey, he looks like someone I'd definitley look forward to battling. The OW's are pretty good looking too. You seem to be an EXCELLENT scripter

The Bad

Having VGen pokemon isn't too smart as we do not know their evolutions and movesets, but we'll see how you manage it. Zoura's backsprite is pretty attrocious too. Cyrus' sprite looks weird. Leviplyse. Nuff said.

The Ugly

This hack seems, no offense, really sloppy. The aura stone doesn't look like a real pokemon item, just something done up in paint, hastily at that. The trainer backspirte...that is a joke a right? I honestly believe you're hiding the real backsprite somewhere else and that this isn't the final one.

Advice

Spoiler:

Take a minute to focus on the graphics of the game. The backsprite specifically. Also the backsprites of most of the new pokemon you put in (IVGEN & VGEN) are pixelated, so just adjusting those would help. The story line is okay, not spectacular but definitely not bad at all. Goodluck.

This looks awesome. But are the starters really level 1? That is rather weak...

Yeah, I'm gonna give them Dragonbreath to start out. So, you'll get a nice attack for that point in the game for having a level 1 starter. Plus, there's a Poké Ball attached, so if you play it wisely you could have 2 before the "rival" battle.

A small update, but still one. Plus a little Easter Egg and a reference to Zorroark's ability:



The Shiny Man, there will be multiple in the game. I'm using the Safari Zone as a test. It worked.



An example of the Shiny Man working. Most of the Pokémon in the Safari Zone will differ, this is for example purposes only.


Just a little easter egg, the overworld comes from Buu's Fury. Plus, since I can't implement Zorroark's Illusion I at least referenced it. This is in Aura Cave where, Riolu, Lucario, Zorroa and Zorroark are catchable.


An example of the names being lower cased. I've changed the Romanizations for Zoroa and Zoroark to the the extra "o". I've also altered "Raikou" in to "Raikoh" so there's no confusion with the pronunciation.

Since I've been putting off the hack, I'm about to go and change some text to correct it. Change some events, change the tiles. So, hopefully expect a beta version.

Why in the world would you change the spelling of Raikou? And it's not even the Japanese spelling. Do you think the fanbase is that stupid that they don't know how it's pronounced? I'm sorry but it just seems like a really stupid edit.

Also, I could stand the Death Note crossover part, but not DBZ too. Just... no.

I like the story, but you need to edit the tiles and edit the overworld sprite of the protagonist. I like the logo, it's original and good, hope there's a download link soon...
