Introduction
I'm Disturbed! This is been honestly, my main priority in hacking since September. I've decided to restart Distant, because frankly, the old one sucked. So I present to you... the brand new Distant!

Storyline
Generically, you begin your adventure not knowing of the things to come. After recovering from a tragic boat accident, you wind up in a city far from where you were before. Not knowing where you are, you and your Pokémon begin a quest to seek these answers. You find out the region you landed in has dark secrets, and beautiful places you would have not even seen in your old home.

Expanded Storyline For those who have time to read it!

Your hometown... a quiet and peaceful place. Everything is how it should be, and you have recently received your first set of Pokémon, which are Bulbasaur, Charmander, and also Squirtle. A little south of your small town, is a ferryman willing to take you across the lake. When doing so, the ferry crashes into a nearby rock. Everybody inside the ferry suddenly disappears, and you try and find your way out of the waterlogged boat. Getting out, you swim down the currents of the lake, leading to a waterfall. Then, all of a sudden, you black out. Nearly a day later, you wake up somewhere nowhere near your old home. You soon realize you are in a region you have never heard of before. The first thing you do is try to find where you are. Talking to one of the citizens, you realize you are in a strict place known as Evercry Empire. "The ferryman was just a diversion... the passengers were just a diversion. Obviously, they are looking for you, kid. Honestly, I have no idea why, but they want you for something, and if they find you... they're sure as hell going to take you away and do whatever they need to do with you. If I were you, I'd get the next boat out of here. There is a new ship located all the way north of here, but good luck getting through this place... it's like a death trap!" - Citizen of Evercry
You are forced with a choice... stay put and hope for the best... or take the challenge to the boat in the north! Along the way, you find there are more than just forests and mountains... there are secrets no man knows of beyond the overlooks of the region, Kypra.


I've been asked this numerous times "Why Charizard for the titlescreen?"
Charizard plays the biggest role in the whole hack... eventually. "Well, if you have Charmander as a starter, wouldn't that lead to conflict with there being two Charizards?"
Honestly, it doesn't affect the storyline in the least bit. I will NOT release the information on how Charizard's role will be played, but believe me, it's freaking incredible ^^

I tried to shorten the story a bit, more people would rather read a short story, and find out more info along the game, than a VERY long story and have no surprises.

Well, thanks.
But as I said in a previous post here, I want the story to be shortened, so more will read it. I will most likely have an expanded section of the storyline sometime later today. ^^

It was a smart idea shortening the story, most people wouldn't read a story over 2 paragraphs.
The mapping really good, the scripts are great too, but the lab door looks kinda weird....

Well, it'll be similar to the old Distant.
Most likely the further along in the game you get, the more different tiles there will be. Nonetheless, it will mostly be consisted of the standard FR tiles.
