I just came by to add a comment on your mapping here. It's not just this shot, but almost all of your screens depict that you basically used one of the FR grass tiles to cover the whole map. I think if you varied those tiles a bit (FR has four of them) it could make this map and others look better. Also one other thing I noticed is that you have a lot of flowers. I can't say for sure because I haven't seen all of your maps, but as far as I can see there does seem to be a lot of flowers. :(

On another note, though, your scripting seems pretty good and I'm liking the story. Good luck with this hack, bud. :3

Yeah, I did that because using one grass tile is much easier than swapping grass tiles every few seconds. but If it's really that important, I'll go and change it. I don't think I used that many flowers, but I just often throw them in for scenery. Thanks, anyway. :3

Anyway, the alpha is coming on much faster than expected.
I just need to do maybe 1 or 2 maps, then all that's left is to finish off scripting (I'm already about 50%) and, finally beta test. Here's a list to show what I've done so far:

Obviously, I don't want to showcase Pure Path and Pure Village yet,
but I'll say you WILL meet your first rival in Pure Village.

I'm revealing Pure Path & Pure Village! :3

Nothing special, just an average route, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Pure Village is just a small village to pass by, but it does have one
interesting place in it... the Berry Shop!

Also, the connection to Aqua Path in the screen above,
(to the right of the player) doesn't work, due to a bug,
although I'm sure I set the connection properly. :/
If anyone knows about it, please post it here, I have
no idea what's happening. D:

The alpha is very close now, mapping is 100% complete! I just need to do some more scripting. :3
Anyways, I've mapped Azure City, my first Saffron-type city!

Anyways, I've found a cute B/W Pokemon, and I'm debating whether to insert it. I don't want to insert any others, I just want to insert it, yet I'm not sure, since we don't know B/W Pokemon english names. Let me know your opinion!

I've already edited all the starter moves, but I don't think it's needed to edit their stats. :3

I read the story, and I think it's pretty mystifying, yet simple. The title screen look pretty well done. I think that you should use the old doors for the Lab and player's houses. It looks much better that way.
I think I'll put this in my "Play the beta" list ;D

You can try reposing Equil's sprite. And now, there are Equil, Minun and Plusle.
Will there are be one with a dividing symbol and also one with a multiplying symbol?
