That's the only one in so far. Check page...2, I believe, for a list of Shinou species I plan on putting in.

Hmm... Not bad, but I was actually thinking of doing something similar to the first movie (Pokémon is created, gets pissed off at the scientist, goes crazy, you know) Thanks for your support!
 
Nice to see you're coming up with more ideas. I like the movie idea too, very cool. :) I hope you can post more screens soon. I'll be watching this regularly.

Thanks for your support. I will not be able to post screens (if you'd read previous posts, you'd know I can't work on the hack for a while, I'm just planning) but I'll keep you all up to date on any plans I have.
 
maybe the "evil" pokemon is Mewtwo, and the fakemon (that looks like mewtwo, like a messed up experiment on mewtwo) can be the good guy, eh?

Actually, Mewtwo isn't involved at all, that Fakemon is the evil one.
 
Oops, I must've missed that in your previous post. Well, I still would love to hear about your plans. Also, will you be show off more tiles you made? The ones you have already posted look so original. Well, do what you have to do bud.

Um... I haven't been working on the tiles much, but I will definitely post them when need be. Thanks for all your support, everyone!
 
I like the tile sets for this hack alot, the best part in my opinion will be the mystery island. Well i hope you coem up with a new version of the game. By the way it's a great job till now i hope you complete this project soon.
 
Hey DL wazzaup! looks like the hacks goin well, need me to do anymore scripting? I could work on the hack while you are unable to... if this is alright PM me and send me a patch...
 
Im having a bit of trouble.... i load up the title screen, the opening goes okay, but it gets to "POKEMON" and gets all glitchy and freezes....
maybe the rom is retarded.. or do you think i need a better rom?

Obviously, you need a new ROM. Few other people have problems with the title...

Yes, I have a heroine. What I need are overworld sprites of the hero & heroine. If you or someone else can do OWs, let me know.

Erm... that's not possible in GBA games, so no.
I have been doing a lot of work on putting in more custom tiles, and if all goes well, I may release a new beta soon, with more new tiles and some changes to the next few maps.
 
Hi DL, since you're posting again, does that mean you regained your computer?. It was getting a little boring without you. I'll wait to see the progress you've achieved!

Yep, we just got our internet connection back! I haven't been doing a whole lot on Iolite though, as I recently discovered the MUGEN fighting game and have been tinkering with that. I'll still work on this a bit, though.

No major updates, except that I've successfully implemented most of my new tiles (that I've already made), so the tileset shouldn't look so messed up anymore. However, some tiles are out of place, so if I were to show you screens, you may notice that there's half a tree floting somewhere.:laugh:
I'm gonna do a little mapping tonight, and I should hopefully have the next demo out by early January. Please keep my thread alive!

*Bump* Anyone there? Well, I'm attaching a file for a new map I made (or I would if the stupid attachments would work ¬¬), which will appear late in the game. If you must have a spoiler, go ahead and insert the file into A-Map on a Ruby ROM.

Well, since there's some problem with the server you uploaded the file, I'll try again later...

Do you still think you'll show us some new stuff by January?, because this thread has been deadly quiet...
