I have no reasons to, and besides, it's fun more than work. Even if it were work, there would be no reason to cut them off halfway ;D

Also guys, as you can see, the textbox is no longer bordered with white lines like it used to be. So just wanted to give a shoutout to daniilS for fixing that! :D
 
This looks great can't wait to play this is this going to follow Platinum faithfully or diverge into it own thing like a new region added on as a after game because the just the battle frontier is just boring after so many times.

The first post explains it, Platinum Red is a 100% demake and Platinum Blue isn't.

Anyway, scripts redone up to this point, you'll see some heavy progress from here on out.

In other news, I created all trainers from start to Route 203 already, so inserting that would be a five second deal lol

Pretty much, alpha is as close as it gets. Stay tuned everyone

Another thing to add, I will change the textbox back to the Platinum box. ;D
 
Hey Gogo can I do a Pokemon Platinum Red and Blue Let's Play on my channel? I have in thought of a Pokemon Platinum Red Normal Let's Play and then Pokemon Platinum Blue Nuzlocke later in the future.
 
It's really amazing how much progress you've made on this, great job so far!
I'd like to ask: Will moves, abilities and pokemon be updated to match their latest updates? (e.g. the BP of some movies, stat increase of pokemon like Beautifly, Azumarill) Also, is fairy type being included? (if not, perhaps you could do this for Platinum blue...?)

(the last few screenshots are so good it's near impossible to tell it's not Platinum at first glance. keep up the good work!)
 
Rycanthropy, I am 99% sure that all abilities will be added. The new moves are definitely there (says so on main page). I don't think fairy type will be added for either hack.

You can do let's plays all you want, just leave a link to my channel on your videos so they can stay up to date etc. I'll also be doing the official let's plays with voiceovers, and those will cover the games, behind the scenes and fun facts.

The intro isn't finished. Since I can't find out how to rotate BGs, I just put it on hold. Don't worry, I'll be working on it eventually.

Abilities moves and Mon are matched to GEN 4 qualifications. Same with forms. No fairy type at all, 1 it ruins compatibility 2 it's not gen 4 and would ruin the balance and 3 fairy type is eh.
 
Love the battles, can't wait to see some of the rival/leader battles with their text etc. Keep it up.

daniilS found how he could show the trainer during battles, so expect mid-battle messages.

Pokemon animations will not be in Alpha v1.0, but eventually they will be in there. MrDollSteak is creating a sugimori art-colored resource that uses Chaos Rush's sprites, and it also includes second frames, so that's what I'm going to be using.

Lots more updates as of now, we got a big chunk out of the way so a lot more stuff can flow through. Only a little longer till we're at a release period.

This might have been asked already, but will platinum move animations be edited in to replace the fire red ones?
