FireRed hack: Pokémon Platinum Red & Blue Versions - Alpha 1.3 Released!

This hack (well, both of them) would be legendary if fully finished; I really hope they do get completed as they look dead on. I have a game boy micro and an EZ Flash IV that would die to run these roms :3

I have no reasons to, and besides, it's fun more than work. Even if it were work, there would be no reason to cut them off halfway ;D

Creating these battles is a nice little way of me showing you that we're getting closer to Alpha v1.0 release!

In other news, I created all trainers from start to Route 203 already, so inserting that would be a five second deal lol

I'd like to ask: Will moves, abilities and pokemon be updated to match their latest updates? (e.g. the BP of some movies, stat increase of pokemon like Beautifly, Azumarill) Also, is fairy type being included? (if not, perhaps you could do this for Platinum blue...?)

(the last few screenshots are so good it's near impossible to tell it's not Platinum at first glance. keep up the good work!)

Rycanthropy, I am 99% sure that all abilities will be added. The new moves are definitely there (says so on main page). I don't think fairy type will be added for either hack.

You can do let's plays all you want, just leave a link to my channel on your videos so they can stay up to date etc. I'll also be doing the official let's plays with voiceovers, and those will cover the games, behind the scenes and fun facts.

The intro isn't finished. Since I can't find out how to rotate BGs, I just put it on hold. Don't worry, I'll be working on it eventually.

Abilities moves and Mon are matched to GEN 4 qualifications. Same with forms. No fairy type at all, 1 it ruins compatibility 2 it's not gen 4 and would ruin the balance and 3 fairy type is eh.

Pokemon animations will not be in Alpha v1.0, but eventually they will be in there. MrDollSteak is creating a sugimori art-colored resource that uses Chaos Rush's sprites, and it also includes second frames, so that's what I'm going to be using.

Lots more updates as of now, we got a big chunk out of the way so a lot more stuff can flow through. Only a little longer till we're at a release period.
