FireRed hack: Pokémon Radical Red (VERSION 4.1 RELEASED! Gen 9 DLC Pokemon, Character Customization now available!)

Steam Engine isn't working. Playing 2.3a build, default RR difficulty + Minimal Grinding mode, I switch my Carkol on Wigglituff's Fire Punch (Whitney battle) and its speed won't raise at all. Am I missing something or should I just forget about this mon? because without it's ability it loses a lot.

I can't speak for Fire type moves, but it activated on a trainer when I used Water Gun on it.

Must be what Uberiffic said, Sheer Force doing stuff it's not supposed to. Checked the documents and there's a mention of it also preventing Weakness Policy activation.

Well, good to know that the ability does work, and it's just me having the worst luck ever.

Will you add the option to have the difficulty of hardcore core mode but without the restrictions on moves? Also is any post game content planned?

That's interesting about Sheer Force - I'm using a Feraligatr with that ability. He's the 'mon I used that was battling that trainer's Carkoal and used Water Gun. Unfortunately, Water Gun isn't affected by Sheer Force so you may be on to something.

For awhile now, I've been trying to come up with Pun names for new abilities for lesser used Pokemon (similar to Cubone's line getting Bone Zone). Best I could come up with was 'Tuff Stuff' for Wigglytuff, but even then, I couldnt come up with what the ability would be like.

Maybe an automatic bulk up on switch in, considering wigglytuff's stats it would hardly be broken.

Also in 2.2b brendan's electivire having plasma fists around Lv 40

See, this is my only issue with this hack. If something is found to be too powerful like Corviknight ( I missed this train )
or Typhlosion's new ability with Inferno so you feel the need to nerf it for us, that's fine. Those changes should apply to the AI as well.

Other than this, I am genuinely enjoying myself with the work soupercell has done. If I want to play in Kanto now this is my go-go game.

The addition of ( every? ) pokemon alongside the QOL changes are exactly what I want in a pokemon game.

If I have to think even a little in order to win Gym fights and whatnot, that's a small price to pay for such a polished product.

Absolutely loving the new HC mode teams in my casual play through, this update is truly terrific! I know this is very greedy, and apologies if you've already answered this elsewhere, but I was just wondering whether you were considering adding a mode that allowed the strategies banned in restricted while still maintaining the boss teams from hardcore (a sort of standard hard mode)? I really enjoyed mono-colour runs of 2.2, and am definitely going to do a few of them with this update, but I think certain shades (pink mainly, and likely yellow too with the solar power nerf and no drought mons) are going to be borderline impossible, or at least well beyond what I'm capable of, without using any set up moves. Regardless of all of that, thanks so much for all your hard work on this game. It's really, really helped me over the past year or so.

Does anyone know if Meloetta can be obtained before the E4? I've checked the docs and didn't find that particular info. Watched a video of someone catching it but I don't know if it's pre or post league.

Yes.
After beating the 8th gym, you will met a scientist that will tell you roaming legendaries are going around Kanto. Meloetta is one of them.

I tried googling it but I didn't find an answer: where is the IV judge ?

I discovered something and i have to ask :

Is it normal that one trainer at Silph.co (the scientist at the 2nd floor to be exact) have a Porygon2 with Aeroblast? Because i checked the documents and it doesn't seems like it should learn it.

I didn't randomized anything and i'm playing on the normal difficulty

Where can i catch the Eelektross line in this game? It would be a great asset to my team when I play.
