I didn't see this up so I decided to make it because it already aired.

    EDIT: A few points:

-J shows how awesome she continues to be when she leaves when she gets her money.
-BGM seems to be left untouched.
-Dodrio can't draw blood from Fearow for some reason.
-Team Rockets die in a climatic collision with J.
    -The villain seems pretty smart.
-Aura is starting to get me mad.
-Blastoise don't dance when using Rain Dance?!

Hm well if we are now at liberty to discuss it, I thought it was pretty good but it seemed like the ending fell a little flat. They HAD to throw that last Team Rocket gag in, and the return of Riolu just went very quickly. But other than that it was neat.

But you got to admit that they went out in a very funny way. :P

Yeah true. I thought they were going to make it explode into the thing on purpose though and cause a little damage, but turns out it was by accident and didn't even make a scratch. It WAS nice to see Hunter J get a win though by running off with the money...that's so NOT Pokemon's usual style and I'm liking it. :-)

Hunter J was epic in this one @_@.

Seriously, she almost KILLED Ash, countless if times, AGAIN. Pokemon is staribg to get very interesting.

    Riolu rules!!

Now that was an epic ending. The Pokemon the Rangers used conveniently appearing, [I love Trapinch, but where the heck did it come from??] the whole aura thing, and lastly, HUNTER J. >: D She is the ultimate Poke-villian!! Even Giovanni looks lame compared to her!!

Actually, I was set to do it this morning, got distracted and forgot. I was about to do that, now. Oh, well, it's fine, given the circumstances. But, next time, ask me, okies?

For the record, should this happen again (my schedule is known to be screwy), I'll try my best to post on it before the day is over. So, I'd recommend patience, there.

Anyway, onto the episode. It's the first death threat we had in the series (or recently). How about that?

I'll ask next time if I do it again. Most likely I won't, way too much hassle for me. O.O'

3 death threats are a record for a single episode. They were mostly made by J so that made her the most awesome female on the show ever.

was a good episode, they are leading it up perfectly for ash to get a riolu egg soon. liked the hunter j thing, i wish in the end when ash fights her, he uses charizard to fight her salamence

MAN! I haven't seen this episode yet...I'm hoping it gets on youtube fast!!! I want to see what everyoone's talking about!!!

    its already on youtube

type in pokemon ranger then select earliest date added

It's funny that the music isn't any quieter, it shows that it's DuArt messing about with the music making it quieter, not that they want it to be. I liked the movie 8 and 9 music

Only bad thing is Starapator's, Aggron's and Golem's voices are horrid. Yeah, the Team Rocket ing at the end was pretty funny, and they didn't inturupt the story!

Drapion crushing Ash...and he STAMPS on it XD
Zoom in on Ash's brown eye!

Thanks! I wouldn't have looked tonight otherwise

I Love Hunter J! It's nice to see a villain in the Anime that's not some stupid gag. Hopefully the writers will add more intresting characters later in the series.

That was the best part! Yay for violence!

Auraholics didn't get their "ASH IS GETTING A RIOLU <3" moment. Bleh.

J is a total douche. There are unimaginably sadistic things I want to do to that woman. Hate her hate her hate her. Hopefully, Ash and crew get her ass in jail. >:[

Overall, both episodes of the two-parter were pretty good. It ended sort of anti-climatically, but at the same time, it was pretty good throughout. :#

But if you ask me, I think both episodes were a distraction from the actual timeline. Next week, Ash fights Crasher Wake. :#

I liked it. Not as much as the first part, but I still like it. I felt the music worked very potently and the emotional and dramatic beats worked nicely as a complimenting BGM that keeps the visuals well accompanied. It reminds me of why I hold the Japanese BGM in such high esteem. The battles themselves were good and I liked the connection that was furthered between Ash and Riolou, and how Ash saved Riolou furthermore and what lengths he went to in doing so.

And in other aspects, to add to that I feel the aura backstory adds an interesting facet (especially in sensitivity, emotionally, intuitively, and how Ash relates to Pokémon, taking that at least one step deeper) to Ash's character complex rather than being hindrance and I rather think that it's a new and interesting course to land. I don't see it as a superpower at all so much as I see it as a magic and (perhaps hypersensitive) intuition (as stated) of sorts or some sort of connection. I don't think we'll ever see Ash develop his aura capacities so much that he'll be able to fly or fire off beams out of his hands on a whim because, quite frankly, I don't think the writers have gone about giving him said superpowers (though I could be wrong on that).

When it comes to Ash's aura capacities having a backstory, well, backstories work... but that's the flaw of them - they only work in certain and different echelons. It plays into context as well as opinion and how the characters may work and develop with select circumstances. I'm also glad to see Ash challenged and in the meat of crisis after crisis in the episode as a whole. I feel keeping the main character challenged keeps the main character in check and keeps the main character both strong and vigorous. It also adds intrigue, rather than just having the character lapse to brushing everything off and breezing through everything.

But yes, I liked both parts, though as said before I find the first part to be better by just a tad.

All you can do is ask. Heh. Besides, I kinda want to keep this on an even keel, as I don't want people post episode discussions willy-nilly (defeats my purposes and plans).

Anyway, I guess J wins the "most badass" award after this. Heh.

I missed Part 1 and missed the beginning and ending of Part 2 :(, but what I saw was awesome! Hunter J is the type of villain you love to hate, and she's reminiscient of the real Team Rocket (a.k.a. the trio during their first appearances instead of being the source for repeated comedy nowadays). Kellyn's voice was awesome, and I'm glad Solana's in the anime! It'd be cool if Lunick made a cameo...
The only things that bugged me were the names "Kellyn" (I'd like a different spelling :\) and Ash's yelling. Honestly, I think his VA could have done a better job with the yells and screams, plus it seems like she forced the tense/serious moments involving Ash a bit (like when he was trying to tap into Riolu's aura). Otherwise, awesome episode as far as I've seen, and I hope Riolu, Solana, and Hunter J make cameos in future eps!!

*Very glad that they kept original background music! And I agree, shouldn't the 3 Blastoises have actually danced when performing Rain Dance? They called it that for a reason...

Great Team Rocket Water Boy in the Sky!!!! Teeheehee That was funny. Teeheehee

I think I like this episode a lot more then the last one. It wasn't too fast but it felt like a lot did happen. I was surprise at how long it lasted really.

Still one thing that bother me. Was it just me or there were fewer and shorter commercial brakes? It seems like there were less then usual.

Two thumbs up for Ash for being so coolies. I was really surprise that he actually kicked Drapion even though I guess that would have happen but still I was surprise. Ash was a real action hero today. Teeheehee Still I was so waiting for Ash to yell Thunderbolt on the Drapion.

This episode really had it all. I just wish they showed it all in one episodes and made that five way battle a bit longer or showed more of it. I mean Brock's part felt really kind undershown really seeing that poor Crogunk did like nothing compare to Dawn and the Pokemon Ranger.

One thing I notice was that all of Ash's pokemon did something during this two parter except Gligar and Turtwig. Still I think Gligar has a reason since Ash hasn't caught it yet due to this episode being held back till after he was captured. Still I love how Staravia was able to slash those tires. Coolies.

Okay this wasa really good episode....I actually enjoyed it more than the 1st part...and I have to say it was the most intense show I have seen the anime make so far, especially at the begining...but I have to say Ash getting a Riolu egg seems more crystal clear to me now...
