[Developing] Pokémon: Thanatos Version

Okay guys, since I've been suspended from dA, I've got a crapton of free time now! ^^; Aside from work, I can get to work on Zircon.

Lala is back in action on YouTube, so hopefully he'll be working on some battle themes for Zircon again! Let's hope so. :P It seems my patience has finally paid off, which is good. Anyways, I've been working on updating the map to B/W style. Here is a little preview!

This here is Victory Isle.

It is an island housing Victory Road, Mt. Destruction, and of course, the Pokémon League. There are three special places on this island as well. The large lake is where a special event Pokémon can be encountered. Also, the Pokémon here are much stronger. Be prepared for some challenging battles! Also, I haven't added the plateau in yet. I'm debating on its direction, either north or south. Anyways, the first post will be undergoing a major revamp soon!

Hey there, guys!

I finally finished the map. It's been added to the first page, but I'll post it here too. I got over the fact that I'll never be able to work with the water style, so, I tried as hard as I could to replicated it and this was the result. Hope you all like it!

Also, I am now working on Anabelle's OW set. I have the base set, thanks to WesleyFG as it was a commission. A lot of work is going to get done now, so for those of you still around, I hope you will still support this project!

I've added four new features to the game, since I feel as if it might make it more interesting! The first one being more Trainer classes, I've got some planned out at the moment. The second being animated fakémon and the third being that each fakémon will walk behind you. I don't know why they removed that feature! It was unbelievably cute. However the one I believe will gander some attention is the ability to travel to different regions by befriending Arceus.

That's right!
Good ol' Arceus returns!

As Arceus does play a role within the main story, he will allow you to travel to different regions once you have started to earn his trust. Naturally, the first region you are allowed to travel to is your own home region of Sinnoh. Depending on your actions within each region, he will pass his judgement. Once the Sinnoh Leauge has been defeated, Arceus will be found a top Mt. Coronet. c:

I almost feel like that Pispark should change names with Pigelec. A piglet (sounds like Pigelec) is a baby pig. Pispark also plays on the name Thunboar better for their general evolution line. Speaking of Thunboar, his design is magnificent! It stands out his name, origin, and type! Great work!

Your game also has some great traits and direction! The plot structure seems very defined and the new custom graphics of your hero/heroin are cool! Yay! I totally would be interested in beta-testing if needed! Great work!

It does make a lot more sense that way, and to be honest, I initially had it like that. ^^; I think I got confused down the road and switched the names up. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll change their names. Thanks, I'm glad you like the Thunboar~

Looks amazing as always. I'm really a big fan of the region, and also the map itself, its really professionaly done and it really has some personal touches to it so its not completly like BW. You're fakemon are amazing to, I really love whole Pispark line and Purleaf is one of my favorite fakemon so far! Love its design. The tiles are lovely as well, and the maps looks amazing too from what I can see.

Personaly I love the idea for Arceus allowing you to travel to Sinnoh as that makes the game stand out from others.

I can't wait to see more updates and screenshots. Keep it up Girl!

Like I said on dA, the map was winged once I got to the second layer of the water. xD I'm glad people seem to like it, despite its slightly messy appearance. I'm glad you like my fakes, too! You are one of few people aside from myself that seem to like Purleaf. ; ; I personally love it. Then again, I am a sucker for cats. =w=

I am looking to recruit a few more members for Zircon so progress can go a bit faster. If you are interested in any of the positions or if you can simply point me in the direction of someone who can and is willing, please send a private message my way! I am not very picky, but I am looking for exceptional contributions for Zircon. I have made due with what I currently have, though I am always looking for others to offer up their skills.

All those who contribute will be featured in the regional Battle Tournament held in Viewpoint Isle. They will be a completely custom character and will have the ability to choose their Pokémon/Fakémon team![FONT=Bubblegum Sans,cursive] Even the slightest of contributions will be greatly appreciated![/FONT]

Spriters - I am learning to sprite myself, so there won't be too much pressure in that area. What I'm looking for is for a sprite to chip in with the sprites—obviously— but I'm also looking for their input on my sprites. I have the basic grasp of spriting, but I have trouble with outlining. All I ask is that the spriter gives me some tips and pointers, and if I can't get it right, I ask that they touch up my sprites.

Composer - Well, with one of my composers either inactive/too busy with his other projects, I'm seeking another composer!The composer is only required to composer battle pieces, as SuperiorLarxene is doing a wonderful job of with the environmental compositions. The game is styled in HeartGold/SoulSilver but the contributions by Larxy are in composed in the tone of Black, White, Black 2 and White 2.​

Yes, Buck was my favorite out of the stat trainers. Plus, he was cute in the episode he was in. He's older in the game, but I haven't gotten around to spriting him. Marley was cute, too. <3

I'm still recruiting another composer and a sprite tutor, but I'm also looking for ONE additional mapper. I opened up RPG Maker XP, opened a new map, and just stared at it. I'm lacking inspiration to even map. :{ I'm not looking for an amazing mapper, just someone to help me out on map concepts. Especially with city maps. Pokemon Gold,Silver,Topaz,no matter what mineral,the name is always barely a relation to the game. Is there something about gold in Pokemon Gold other than the fact that the player is called Gold? Just my opinion though. Also,will the OW Sprites be animated like in BW2?

Ah, yes!

I'm not sure about animated trainer overworlds, but that is a definite possibility; important characters such as Gym Leaders and perhaps even some special non-playable characters will have special animations.

I don't mind fanart at all, either!
