Like, it says that the most high stat will be boosted in harsh sun, but the only thing it does is lowering a random stat when entering the field lol. It's a shame about the Exp-Share, The game fundamentally is good, However the Share makes it insanely Easy, Could it not be moved into the the non key items bag and then allowed to be put into the PC? I've seen other hacks offer an on and off feature but obviously no idea how it'd work

And thanks for the EV update, that definitely helps things if an EV/IV screen isn't possible :D

So I have disabled EXP share. Disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm doing, and have never done anything like this before. I opened up Gen3tools in the folders, clicked enable saving, and loaded my patched rom. I went to the item menu, scrolled down past berries to EXP share, and made the attached changes.

Again, I don't really know what does what.

I loaded a save from just after getting EXP share from mom, if that matters.

Just finished the first gym and no issues yet.

I'm at the battle frontier! Got phermosa, rayquaza, and kartana ready lmao. This game is amazing. Love the wonder trade feature! Also didn't realize about the upstairs of the pokemon center lol. The spreadsheet included with the patch (Workbooks/Misc Data.xlsx) says Dartrix evolves into Alolan Decidueye during "day" and Hisuian Decidueye during "night". What isn't explained anywhere, and I believe is the source of everyone's confusion, is what the time frames are for day/night/dusk (dusk only matters for Rockruff). Also, since time seems to do nothing outside evolution and the ONLY clock in the game seems to be the one at your house, it's kind of hard to gauge what time it is in the game (especially if the game time starts to get out of sync with the actual time).

Edit: So night starts at 9 PM. However, Rockruff did not evolve into "Dusk" form at any time between 5 PM and 9 PM, so I am starting to doubt that the "dusk" timeframe was even put in (making Dusk Lycanroc unobtainable by normal means despite the docs saying otherwise).

So I just now found out about this after playing very far into Theta Emerald EX and I have a few questions. Is there a way to transfer my save from theta emerald Ex to this? And also have some of the more major bugs been fixed? Such as drain kiss causing the game to slow to a crawl for a short while, or the assault vest freezing the game when viewed at the vendor in the battle frontier? I'm immensely enjoying Theta Emerald Ex and would love if I could continue my journey by updating to this

For anyone who, like me, feels getting the exp share right at the start feels incredibly overpowered there's a pretty easy fix. If you google Pokémon theta emerald the last dance cheats you can find a site that has some working action replay codes, one of which lets you walk through walls. What I did to skip on getting the exp share was just walk through the trees using this cheat and onto the route directly above the starting town, if you don't go back in afterwards it won't trigger the event where mom brings it to you. Then you can go back and grab it whenever you feel like it's a good time to have it! I have some other gripes with this hack too like the trainers not attacking you when they see you, but overall I'm enjoying it so far

After reading through some other comments on here I think I may hold off on playing this until more updates have been done. The lack of actually having the HM moves seems like a really bad idea to me, at least the way it was implemented. I love the idea of not needing an HM slave, however some of those moves are ones that are genuinely decent for battles (like dive surf and fly for example) and not being able to manually use ones like rock smash for regirock is also a massive oversight
