Prior Round Results

And the results are in! We had a total of 13 submissions for the Music Identification round, and we have a 3-way tie for first! I graded everything as correct if you had the right track and the right game, and deducted half a point if you only got the game. I tried to be as lenient as possible in scoring.

Congratulations to gimmepie, Arcaneum, and wolf for all scoring 18/19! All of you get first place and 25 points for your team. Since this 3-way tie means the next-highest-placing participant, Aquacorde, gets 4th place, there will be no more points awarded for placement.

Onto the achievements side of things, gimmepie/wolf get both the PokéMusic Listener and PokéMusic Connoisseur achievements for Team Magma. On Team Aqua's side of things, Aquacorde scored 15.5/19 and got the PokéMusic Listener achievement while Arcaneum gets the PokéMusic Connoisseur achievement. Well done!

On the participation side of things, it was 7 Magma and 6 Aqua - almost an even turnout!

Team Magma scored 7*5 (Participation) + 2*25 (Placement) + 15 (Achievements) = 100 points for this round!
Team Aqua scored 6*5 (Participation) + 1*25 (Placement) + 15 (Achievements) = 70 points for this round!

Ok apparently soon is 16 hours later.

I scored the ranking by how far each song was ranked from its true position. If you were spot on, you got 0. If you were 1 placement off, it was 1 point. So on and so forth...

First place was Kitty with 92 points. Next in second (tied) were Deva and Jin. Congratulations! Unfortunately, no one got close to any achievements for the Music Ranking (I maybe should have rethought how the achievements worked for this one). Participation-wise, we had 6 for Aqua and 4 for Magma.

Overall, the points for this round are:
Magma: 4*5 (Participation) + 15 (Placement) = 35 points
Aqua: 6*5 (Participation) + 40 (Placements) = 70 points
