Dash
-> Pallet Town
It was somewhat surprising to find that by the time Dash had finally reached the vicinity of the elusive Pokemon lab on the southern edge of town, he was not too exhausted. He quite literally dashed from one end of the town to another just to reach the laboratory as quick as possible. "Well, I guess I am more athletic than I thought. Good to know," Dash smiled to himself.
The general area was pleasant, with the lab resting on a hill overlooking a rocky beach. The gentle breeze ran through his hair and the sun was beating down on his red eyes. Dash instinctually removed the sunglasses from his hair and placed them over his eyes for the meager protection they would provide. "Thank god for these. Otherwise I'd be going blind right about now."
Dash surveyed the hair, mostly looking for some random items or anything that seemed useful. He couldn't explain the habit, but it felt like something he would do if he was trapped in a video game. Being someone who strived to obtain 100% completion rates in every video game he played was a nasty old habit. At least you could say he was ambitious. Seeing nothing of note, Dash grunted. He wanted to avoid the beach for now, pretty sure he would come back there later. Also, Dash lacked a swim suit on him, making a mental note to buy one later.
Dash dragged his feet back to the entrance to a lab, and noticed a figure in the distance with long red hair tied up in pigtails. Her outfit was different to say the least and Dash would honestly say the character resembled someone ripped out of a video game. Looked familiar but the name eluded him. Regardless of the fact, the character looked a bit different the most of the other NPCs he encountered. Maybe she was important? Dash would need to find out. She was the only other person in the area, so Dash figured she was probably here for the Professor as well.
"Hey you! You here to check out the lab too? Wanna try to check it out together?" Dash asked the girl as he approached her.
