Pok?Community Get-together 5

We have to have Get-Together 5 first, Scott. ;p So I think 6 is pretty much off for this weekend, lol.

Maybe we should schedule G-T 5 (too lazy to write the whole name) for next weekend (May 14-16, if we're to have it from Friday-Sunday). If it's the weekend after, I won't be able to attend. :\
 
I think it worked better as a one day thing, since everybody knew they had to get on around that time. Sure? some people couldn?t make that, but it?s better than having nothing to make it to. =\

I also really think it?s got to be more publicized this time, as no one was aware of the last one really. Get some energy going for it yeah? Everybody should be aware of it, send out PMs and get everyone involved in the planning. Remember the turn-out for the first one? Slow server, but it was a lot of fun!

Just opinions though.
 
It's always so embarassing to ask n00b questions, but I might as well for all the other people who are wondering...what exactly is this? I know it has to do with all being on at the same time and participating in special topics and contest, but are there any other particulars to this beyond the special events?
 
Originally it was a way to boost activity, at the first one we didn?t have any events or stuff. This resulted in a lot of topic-less chatter and roleplay, though it was fun. The only downside was our server was pretty bad back then, and as a result pages took a monster time to load. It was a blast though, since everybody was on and chatting. So we?ve slowly added events to help give it some direction, but it?s still primarily a chatting-party0thing. o.o;

Yeah, I love the party0s. ;p

Kairi pretty much summed it up. Although we could hold all of these activities on their own with no occasion, it can be so much more fun to hold them during a day like this because you get more participants and instead of having to wait a long time for replies, they come almost instantaneously. ^^;
 
Well I'm in :P

I'm actually ok at art and quite skilled at writing so I think I'll fit nicely in those categories...lots of roleplaying sounds great too. I'll have to make up something interesting for that day. I can't wait for more details ^_^
 
Oh! I was RPing like crazy in the last one hehe...
That was so much fun! Probably one of the best experiences I had on here as of yet! I can't wait to see if I can cause some more havoc in this one hehe.....

ah good times times, the first one was fun! (cept Alyssa kept threating to ban me for some weird reason :laugh: ) cept it sucked when it took 5 minutes to reply and another 5 to post it! XD

Same here. Now all we need are two more victim... I mean volunteers. Pity it starts at 2:00 our time... we won't see a great opening ceremony or something. Meh... I'll be dreaming about it.

Hmm I'll probably use issue 53 of Mario Unleashed for the sprite comic contest if it turns out right. If not then I'll make a completely new one...

Are there going to be any special limitations on the comic part?
