Kayleigh laughed and nodded.
"I know how you feel; I'm a major klutz, and so that would probably happen to me... But, I guess I'll try it out."
She slung the backpack straps over one of her shoulders, and walked over and grasped the rope tightly. She began to climb up the rocks slowly, watching her feet every single moment to make sure that they didn't slip. After a few minutes, she finally reached the top.
"Phew!" she said to herself, as she looked down at the others, while grapsing the edge of a rock. "I made it! Here!" She tossed the rope down to them. "It wasn't so hard."

Evelina caught the rope, as she looked up at Kayleigh. It seemed so easy, but... she was still scared. "Okay, I'll try..." she said uncertainly as she adjusted the rope clips and the rope. The trek up was long, yet fast. As she reached the top, she exclaimed, smiling "Oh, I could just kiss the ground right now!"

OOC: If you read the first page, I think you'll find I was in this... Sorry for not replying! Is it OK to slip in?

Ack, I thought this thread had died ages ago. Can someone please tell me what has happened since I have been gone from this thread?

OOC: Can I start from there.

BIC:
Batesy climbed the mountain to get to the cave. Everyone else was too. The cave was up the top as Batesy knew too well having played video games. The mountain was high. But Batesy knew he could do it.

Keith tried climbing up to the cave, but he started to really struggle because of the cast on his broken arm. "Can someone please help me?"

Kayleigh looked down and noticed that Keith was struggling to climb up.
"Don't worry, Keith! We'll help you up somehow," she assured him.
I don't know if I'm strong enough, but I might could try to help him climb up... she thought as she glanced down. I guess I'll take a chance.
She gripped the rope tightly, and then slowly began to climb back down the mountain. With the rain pelting down on her, it was hard to maintain a decent grip. Everything was beginning to get really slick, so she had to take extra caution.
After a couple of minutes, she finally reached the spot where Keith was stuck at.
"Okay, umm... I'll try to help you climb by lifting the side that your broken arm is on, if you can manage to grip the rope with your other hand. We still might need some more help from someone else, though," she said in a slightly nervous tone.
She then carefully let go of the rope with one hand to hold onto his arm, but before she could manage to grasp it, a loud boom of thunder startled her and caused her to slip.
"Aaaaahhh!!!!" she cried as she realized that she was falling.

OOC: Sorry about the absence, but.... I'm back! Hehe...

"Aaaaahhh!!!!" Kayleigh cried, falling off the stone mountain, hurtling down towards the rocks below.
Jordan, quickly snapping back into reality, stood in awe as he saw this, a lightning flash illuminating the sky just enough for him to see.
"Kaaaayleeeeighhh!!!!" He screamed, immediately dashing off to where she was going to hit the ground without a care about his bad sandal dragging behind him.
He closed some distance between the two of them, but, in the end, he noticed that he would never be able to reach the point in time before she...

I'm... not going to make it... He thought, feeling a sudden weakness overtake him as he turned his attention toward the ground in shame.
Staring now at the ground, he saw water running swiftly down the rocky slope, down in a valley where...

That's it... Jordan thought, narrowing his eyes in determination.

I can still do it!

Gaining speed and going head first, he skid down into the valley on top of the water, arriving just as Kayleigh landed squarely on his back. Releasing his breath because of the impact, he winced slightly.

"...don't worry...my little sister used to do this to me all the time..." He said, his voice a bit hoarse.

OOC: It's okay! You came back just in time, lol.

Kayleigh closed her eyes tightly as she felt herself falling, but then re-opened them as soon as she landed on something.
Huh?! she thought, now really confused. I'm still alive?
She blinked quickly, and then realized that she had landed on Jordan's back.
"Uh... Ah, I'm sorry!" she stammered as she quickly jumped off and caught her breath. "T-That was really stupid of me... Are you hurt?!"
She frowned and looked towards the ground, unsure of what else to say.
Great... I just made things worse, she thought.

"Heh, are you joking?" Jordan replied reassuringly, coughing as he slowly propped himself up onto his legs to look Kayleigh in the eyes. "That was the most fun I've had on this island yet!" He laughed.
"Besides, you helped me with my hand, so just consider this payback."
Thunder clapped in the background, as ominous clouds continued to devour the last remnants of clear sky in sight.
"Anyways," He went on, in a more serious tone, "How are you doing? That sure was some fall you had earlier. Looks like you came out of it okay though..."
Thank goodness for that...he said to himself, breathing deeply in relief.

"Yeah, I guess... But that was just so much more dangerous," Kayleigh replied, sighing. "But, I guess that if you enjoyed it then it's okay!"
She looked up from the grounded and smiled up at him.
"Anyway, I guess that I'm still a bit shook up over it; The loud thunder surprised me and caused me to slip. Good thing you were down here or I'd have probably died," she shuddered at the thought.
"Speaking of, thank you, by the way! It probably didn't exactly feel very good to have me land on top of you like that, ehe." She kicked some sand back with one of her feet lightly, to try to escape her nervous feeling.

"I don't have any regrets in my decision, so as long you're okay then that's all that matters."
He smiled back at her as the rain continued to pour, a small gap of silence between them held its ground as a slight wind began to pick up.
Hearing her next comment he perked up, laughing quietly as she timidly kicked back some sand with her shoe.
"That's okay! I'm actually used to those kind of things... my sister mistakes me for a jungle gym, heh."
"I understand that you were trying to help Keith anyway though, so there's--Wait, Keith!!!"
A sudden surge of terror rushed over him, as he realized the weak spot in his plan. He searched nervously in every which direction, for any sign of his new found friend. Cupping his hands over his mouth, he shouted in an attempt to find his location.
"Keith!! Keith, where are you!? Kei--GAAAAAHH!!"
Jordan was rammed into the ground, as Keith toppled over him, coming down from the mountain above.
"...guess I'm supposed to be a landing pad today, ah heh..." Jordan managed to say dizzily.

Before Kayleigh could say anything else, she stepped back as Keith crashed into Jordan.
Oh no! she thought, as she quickly rushed over towards them.
"Are you both okay?!"
She sighed in relief as she heard a response from Jordan, but she still was unsure about Keith. She leaned down slightly and held out her hand to help them up.

Jordan gently placed his hand in hers, raising his face from the sand below, while keeping a good grip on Keith in his other hand.
As he rose to his full height, he noticed the blank expression on Keith's face, his eyes closed tight.
"I'm hoping he's just unconscious..." He said, his eyes wavering in slight doubt.

((Ahhhh! Gomen! x_x;))
Evelina was edging toward the end of the cave, her eyes widing in disbelief. This can not be happening... Kayleigh almost fell down and now Keith... she shook her head sadly. It's not much of an use if she just kept sitting here, doing nothing.
"I'll go find Keith." she said aburtly and started to climb down the slope.
I'll try my best... she thought determindly as she walked toward where she heard his voice last.

(I forgot about this again... It looks like I came just in time. ;))

After awhile Keith finally opened his eyes, and said "What happened?" As he tried to stand up, he felt a sharp pain in his leg...

((Er.... *feels stupid* n_n; ))
"Are you guys alright?" she asked worridly. She saw Keith's face flickered with pain as he tried to move his leg.
"Are you okay?" she asked, her heart was about to jump out from all the tension.
Please... Please, let him be okay... I hate to see people in pain... and one of my friends too...
