Have you given your custom dex a name in def pbDexNames, along with all the other dexes 1-8? That's the only other thing I can think of, after that I'm out of ideas.

Go to the scripts and press Ctrl+Shift+F (it's a global search tool).

Right click any script, choose option "find..." or use hotkey CTRL + SHIFT + F which will search all scripts . It's in Settings> (237)

The point is: with Ctrl+Shift+F, you don't have to know which script cntains the function, as it helps you find it among the scripts.

Maybe just delete one of your existing dexes/regions and replace them with your custom one. I doubt you need 9 different regions in a single game. Dexes 7 & 8 seem to work according to you, so try using one of those instead.

since my game is a kalos game i can just get rid of the existing kalos dex. thank you for everything!
