This is my newest hack, Pokemon Amber version, i've been testing alot with different roms and trying many different things and have chosen to use Pokemon FireRed over Ruby. If anyone wants to know about Pokemon Arctic Blue, it has been deleted with the rest of my hacks, because I want a fresh start. The tiles are still available for use, just search Pokemon Arctic Blue.

Story

Whats the epic story?

Part One
It is your tenth birthday, and you are ready to receive your first Pokemon. When you step down stairs your mum comes towards you and gives you your fathers first Pokemon, a Pikachu.

She tells you about your father and he's obsession with Team Amber, and their goal to re-model the Pokemon World! But they have to obtain a legendary Pokemon - Shaymin.
Can you stop them?

Part Two

Spoiler:

When you go into the Mart you will see a odd looking man sitting down, when you talk to him he offers information about Team Amber and your father, though to get the information you need a special item. (Not Revealing) The person gives you the information buts it's a trick because he is one of the members for Team Amber, he gave you real information but you gave him something they need. But to get this item you have to enter the police station in the third town, which is highly guarded by Officers, who are willing to battle you. So what you need to do is get a VIP Pass, or just defeat the guards, who have high level pokes! I'm not giving out the VIP Pass location though. Phew... Thats was long

Nope, the water was already there, since it's FireRed.
It's found near the bottom, and only on tileset 1 I think.

Yeah, I though about not deleting it for a while, but then decided it would be better for a fresh start, I MIGHT go back to it in the distant future, though it will take time ripping the tiles and inserting them again.

This is very good, I think I like everything on it... and the water is great too.

Thanks for your comment, I chose the water tile cause it looked nice, and it gives it a better feel than the other one.

NEWS
I didn't think I would release screenshots of the new events in town one this soon, but it came over me.

THIRD TOWN

I've already mentioned the police station, but this town is also home to the next gym! A Dark or Ice type gym. (Maybe a fusion?)

Thats all i'm revealing, and hey! Already a relatively important sidequest!

Back to hacking everyone, i'll be back when I get some of these scripts done, and ofcourse maps.

I need to find out how to make the script happen when you land on the tile, right now you have to walk away and then come back.

The titlescreen isn't really one of the things I care about, cause it only happens at the beginning of the game, and it's not like anyone will take time looking at it ;).
Though it will probably be a Pikachu or Shaymin, but maybe something else?

Well i'm progressing steadily, i'm fixing up and finishing the scripts for the first and second towns. I've also changed the palettes a little of almost everything ;). And edited the titlescreen flames a small bit. (If it's noticable) I'm going to see if I can find someone to make me a hero and heroine set. I'm going to get a new sprite for the titlescreen, so don't take notice of the Charizard :)

But anyways, here are the palette changes:
I don't care about the graphics much, my main priority is scripting, because i'm getting better at it ;D

I didn't really see any hacks with this sought of idea so then I used it ;D.

I've made the script for the Team Amber Spy.
Now I just need to make the more complicated ones, it'll take a while, so i've postponed mapping to do these scripts. I'd rather have them out of the way cause mapping can always be changed, but i'll be wasting flags by changing scripts x\.
