Oh my GOD okay it's happening!
I'm so excited to hear this! Really out of the blue, but I'm enthralled nonetheless! Hopefully we won't have to wait much longer until we see a release everywhere else!
And hopefully the re-release will go smoothly...

I am still able to use my Kalos Hacked Poke's on Battle Spot. (I won't use them on Battle Spot nor against anyone). So far, it's the Hidden Ability Starters you cannot use on Battle Spot. Not sure what you mean by hackedmons.

but ALL the starters (except Gen 2 and 5) are legitimately able to have their hidden abilities, so why are they being blocked?

YAY! Let's hope we get some news soon :) (and not in 2 weeks like the previous update)[/QUOTE]

It probably won't be detected because IVs aren't generated through the PID. A pokemon's IVs are determined at random when the pokemon is created unless bred (breeding mechanics take over then). There's no actual way to trace if a pokemon's IVs have been modified.

EDIT: Sorry, ever since Gen 5, natures and PID are no longer connected.

How would you have Kalos hacked Poke's?
I don't mind when people use reasonably hacked pokes, but crazy ones aren't okay. >. <

You just change the region value of the Pokemon using a hex editor before sending it over to Bank. I heard that it doesn't work anymore, but the ones that originally went through may still have them.

I did not know about Gen 3 starters (except Blaziken) and Gen 4 starters hidden abilities being available through transfer. Sorry for the confusion. Just Gen 2 & 5 Hidden Ability starters you cannot use on Battle Spot.

I don't think Mudkip and Treeko's abilities are available, as I don't recall an event for them last generation, and we certainly don't have one now. I only recall the Sinnoh ones through some promotion in Gen V, but I'm guessing they're rare to find.

I can't wait to transfer generations 2-5 starters over. I want to see pet Snivy,Mudkip, and Chimchar, Tepig too...as well as Cyndaquil...

not EVERYTHING is an event. the Gen 1, 3 and 4 starters got their abilities via the Dream World:

And also Gen 1 and 6 got their hidden abilities via the Friend Safari.
So anyone having the games and internet access to play the Dream World games makes it not that rare, plus all the starters can breed their hidden abilities onto new generations so once it's available, it's really easy to get.

Basically there's only 17 pokemon that don't have their hidden abilities: Gen 2 Starters, Gen 5 Starters, Legendary Birds, Legendary Beasts, Legendary Golems, Mewtwo and Heatran.

Oh, that is quite interesting. :o

Gosh I'm so excited, can't waaaait. >____<

If it's never released, then the games essentially become uncompletable, unless they were to make another game, remake or otherwise, to compensate.

Quick question... does anyone know if we can move pokemon to box 1 in poke transporter? Or do we have to move the pokemon to box 1 in-game?
