I said Vileplume, VILEPLUME!

Poliwrath@Leftovers
Nature:Adamant/Impish
Bulk Up
Waterfall
Hypnosis/Ice Punch
Focus Punch/Brick Break/Ice Punch
200 HP, 180 ATK, 130 DEF

This looks good.

I'm not knowledgeable on Poliwrath, but its above-average defense and average stats make it a pretty solid pokemon. As said before, I realized it was a great Gyarados counter with an SE of its own. Also, Hypnosis is a nice addition onto something with STAB Focus Punch. The typing is okay in my opinion as it has many resistances, and it takes both ground and fighting normally. It even gets Psychic, although I doubt that'll be used.

Poliwrath I do approve of, but I'd keep it for BL or lower tiers. In OU it can get pretty beat up in a little time.

Poliwarath @ Choice Specs
Trait: Hai boomers! Damp
EVs: 152 HP / 72 SpA / 40 Spe / 244 Def
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Surf / Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam / Blizzard
- Mud Bomb
- HP [ELECTRIC / FIRE / GRASS / GROUND]. Just another of the very barren number of gimmick sets. Bulky Special Sweeper is really all this set as to say. Blizzard for Hail Teams, Ice Beam for other species of Teams.

@ ABYAY, totally agreeing with that final portion of your post.

Its actually ok in OU, max hp n max def @Impish it takes a max att Adamant Salamence 2 dragon dances to 2hko the dude =o even after 1 dd, its a 3hko, it also makes a Pimp of a T-Tar counter =)

Is it really that good Azelf? Well, like I said, I haven't messed with Poliwrath because T-Tar nor DD-Mence have been on my huge threat list. I might make one just to have and use on those occasions I expect one of the two

It takes Weavile, Tyranitar,Salamence, Houndoom, Aerodactyl, even Ryyperior =0

First 3 pokes SHOULD be on your threat list, they are VERY threatening when used correctly =p

Max def & max hp give 384 HP / 317 DEF which is very bulky

Meh, it really needs more credit than it gets IMO.

Almost as good as Vileplume, but with worst typing. Then again, only Chuch Norris can beat Plume, but he beats everything.

Wrath has gotten some major improvements this time 'round. Let's see...two nice STAB, great resistances, especially to Stealth Rock, it walls so much, and can Bulk Up to really deal with threats.

Put them to sleep and then use wake up slap, as it double in power when they are asleep.

EQ is eww on fighting types, it has the same coverage as Fighting basically Waterfall in there >> EQ.

Who's Peter Griffin? O_o Dark Azelf?

Have you never watched "Family Guy" ? Hes on that lol

Oh yeah, I couldn't remember since I only watched it a single time. But guys, let's not turn this into a "Family Guy" discussion before Loquacity / Blueberry gets us.

What the hell? I only casually mentioned it ONCE, as a joke to get my point across. Stick to the topic, and STOP IGNORING EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE POST. The nerve. Asking a question, then saying "this is getting off topic" when you get an answer.

I'm just appalled you don't know who Peter Griffin is and you've only watched that show one time. That's infraction-worthy in it's own.

I have to admit I put up Poliwrath for selfish reasons. I was thinking of using it and wasn't sure how. It was my original favorite Pokemon.

Poliwrath @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature

Waterfall
Focus Punch
Hypnosis / Ice Punch
Substitute

It's only downfall is that Speed and Special Defense.

Oh, and I see much better options than Wake Up Slap. I'd rather go rick Break over that. Not to say it's useless. ow that I think of it, it's a great way to de-activate Sleep Clause. I hate it when I put a poke to sleep, only to realize that I could have done it to a much more menacing poke.

RestTalkCross, I'm talking to you.

But it has Base 90 sp.def =O

Base 95 hp / 95 def / 90 sp.def ;)

Base 70 speed is meh however....

EDIT:

@Sims, lol are you referring to my sleep talk heracross by any chance XD

Don't worry much, Huckleberry. Poliwrath has great options that I have never thought of, and it did prove some good conversation. Speed it bought up by awesome defenses, and GREAT HP. And it has Bulk Up. Switch it in on a Poke you KNOW will use Water moves, like Swampert, and BAM. Free healing.
