FireRed hack: Pokemon FireRed: Bill's Secret Garden v1.3 [HARD MODE Release!]

Was searching in Seafoam Islands (B4F) for Galarian Slowking when I came across this guy. Just curious if this was intentional or not since he turned back into a regular Slowbro in the PC box.

That's an interesting bug...I'm guessing I accidentally chose the wrong Slowbro when writing out the Wild Pokémon data there. Thanks for catching that! I have one more patch I'll be putting out soon, so I'll fix it then.

No problem. I only ever found a Mega Slowbro there once, the rest were regular ones so I figured it was a bug. A few others I've noted: On my first runs of the trainer tower, the Meowth and Espeon the trainers had were shiny and the Gold Teeth stay in your inventory even after returning them to the Safari Zone warden. One more question for completionists sake: I'm nearly done with my 100% run now (aka full dex, all TMs, complete postgame, e4 rematches and boss trainers) but I can't find the secret Pokemon for the life of me. I know which mon it is but after searching for a few hours now I can't seem to find it. Any hints you could give me?

Found one more bug: When moving from Sevault Canyon to Tanoby Ruins you won't be able to interact with Lucy until you get into a battle in Tanoby Ruins. Tested this with wild battles, not sure if other trainer battles also work. Also had this happen when I got into a battle right at the start of the surfing area:

Thanks again for letting me know about these bugs and errors. Not really concerned about the Shinies (I think that's actually vanilla...) or the Gold Teeth, but I think I've ironed them out the rest of them. With that, v1.2 has been released!

As for the secret Pokémon, I'd recommend surfing at Cinnabar Island with repels active, with a Pokémon between level 36-60.

i may have messed up my game i cant get the farfetch'd with cut as i can't get spearow and i don't wanna get the hm for cut before gym 3 yet
In that case, I'd recommend using the "Walk through walls" cheat once you get Surf. If you surf around the guy at the gate, you can still get into the SS Anne harbor after the ship has left. I've confirmed that this cheat works:

As for Kotora's third evolution, there isn't really a good sprite for it. I don't have the skill to make one myself, so I couldn't add it to the game. Although, I kind of prefer the line ending on Raitora and keeping that goofy cuteness to it. The third evolution was much more aggressive and doesn't really fit with the first two.

ah ok and as for the walk through walls cheat i tried it but when i removed it, it didn't deactivate so i had to restart i am getting my pokemon back thought also another question, what does the silver and black coins do???

Is there a difficulty mode/level cap for ppl who want to be challenged or is vanilla all there is?
Just the default difficulty. It's probably just a tiny bit harder than vanilla FireRed because there are a greater variety of Pokemon and I gave a lot of mid-game trainers better teams, but probably not that much more difficult. There are "super bosses" in the post-game though, all with custom IVs, EVs, items, moves, and abilities.

I have considered creating a "Hard Mode" branch, but that would be a TON of work fine-tuning all the trainer battles. I have another project in mind at the moment, so I don't know if I'm up to putting in all that work at the moment.

so i leveled up farfetch'd to 15 and it didnt learn cut is there a move reminder anywhere???
Well that's incredibly annoying. I'm absolutely certain I made that change, but I suppose it didn't save or something. Thanks for catching that though.

I've updated the v1.2 download link with a fixed patch. It should now learn Cut correctly.

I'll still play it, dont worry, my current team (just starting out) is spinarak and budew. I havent played with budew much (with roselia, i do) and arcados is also cool, thanks for making these mons available and ill look forward to your next project.

Sorry to ask or if there is already an answer but i just over seen it, but is there new areas ? or is it the Vanilla Kanto areas.
Not really. There is the one major one, being Bill's Garden. There are also a few small areas added here and there to accommodate some of the Legendaries, but they're mostly just a short path and then a room with the Pokémon. Outside of that, it's vanilla Kanto.
