FireRed hack: Pokemon Garnet

Allow Silver to Chose between the Starter he steals, or just Totodile?

After finishing, I had some things I liked and somethings you should consider fixing.

Some of the oddities:
->Exclamation Point box has palette errors
->Movecamera movements are a bit off
->Lance gave Silver an item through the phone
->Silver's head is ... Big.
->Some of the trainers were too easy.
->Silver is supposed to be bad, but he helped out a little kid..?
->Titlescreen has charizard's cry
->Alpha ended unexpectedly without warning (I'm guilty of this too)

And some of the things that I found neat-o:
->Silver looks pretty mean
->Sneasal has good stats
->Liked playing as Silver in something other than my hack.
->I like the idea of escaping and having a partner.
->

I had a lot more things that I liked, but the browser deleted them, when I tried to "Go advanced" and add font to the post...It told me to press the back button, and when I did, everything was erased. So here I am, rewriting everything...

It was a good hack overall, sorry it took this long to write this post when I actually played it over six hours ago. Keep up the good work!

->If I'm correct, TMs are on discs, so wouldn't Lance be able to send Silver the data, thus allowing Silver to teach the TM? That's improvising, but meh, I'll figure out a legit excuse soon enough.

There's a tool in the Toolbox called Titlescreen Changer, which you can use that to change Charizard's Title Screen Cry.

He just doesn't trust anybody, making him seem heartless.

I know in the Gold and Silver games, he's totally cruel until later on in the game, but this is (or was supposed too be) a manga hack.

Well, this is a hack. Which has it's own story seperate from the manga :P

->2. Well you could ake Lance tell silver that he already put the TM in a hidden place, and make Silver turn around and tell Lance that he found it.

Wow I was thinking the exact same thing. XD

Or maybe Lance could say that he's flying above right then, and drop the TM. that could be how you obtain it... Just a thought.

Hack looks really good, I finished the Alpha and I'm really impressed. Great job :)

Here's my character application thing:

Name of Trainer: Damien (it would be Jordan but apparently that's already taken >_>)
Hair Style/Colour: Brown, long-ish and sort of untidy
Clothing: Blue shirt with white long sleeves, black jeans/pants, no bag, white shoes
Attitude: Anxious/Excited
Which Colosseum You Want to Partake in: Orre or Under
Pokemon #1: Heracross (Megahorn, Brick Break, Earthquake, Body Slam)
Pokemon #2: Ampharos (Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Light Screen, Iron Tail)
Pokemon #3: Houndoom (Sunny Day, Solarbeam, Crunch, Flamethrower)
Pokemon #4: Ludicolo (Giga Drain, Ice Beam, Surf, Toxic)
Pokemon #5: Salamence (Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Aerial Ace, Flamethrower)
Pokemon #6: Gardevoir (Psychic, Thunderbolt, Hypnosis, Dream Eater)

Moves are just suggestions, you can change them if you want.
 
I've been looking at this hack for a longgggg time, and its come Out Excellent!
Well done!
I can't wait to play it!
Also, you know the sprites of the gym leaders, are they the proper ones?

There are no gym leaders in this release. It only goes to Route 30 (Violet City is after Route 31). The next release may have Falkner's gym, but I can't say for sure.
 
Ummm.. Silver's Sneasel is a male and Horsea is a female. Other than that, lol, I see nothing wrong. Finally a hack based on the manga. ABOUT TIME! :) KEEP IT UP!

story:grey was born in cinnabar island his dream was to be the greatest pokemon trainer in the world that was until team rocket attacked greys father trying to take his prized pokemon charmander after the attack greys father went missing and all was left behind was charmander and a necklace his father always wore now greys dream is to destroy team rocket and anyone who gets in his way to find his father. grey has followed the clues to the johto region and he is now in ecruteak city searching for clues

team: cinnabar island/ charmander
team2:viridian city/ charmander ,larvitar
team3: ecruteak city/ charmeleon, larvitar, houndoom, haunter
team4/ mahongany city/ charmeleon,pupitar,houndoom,gengar, gyarados
