    So I was thinking about how there are multiple programs for editing the main games (RSE, FRLG, ect) like Advanced Map/Text and the like. I wondered if anyone has heard of or know of a hack of PMD Red or any hacking tools that are available for downoad.

    Although your post is better suited in Simple Questions a discussion thread for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon seems like a good idea. I'll change the thread title and you might want to change your first post Vonny.
     
    This information is regarding MD Red.
    Well, it's not that hard to hack. Sebbe (who's temporarily banned) and me did a bit of work on some scripting in MD. It has been documented, I just don't really have a link to the data written up.
    Text editing is quite easy. The text doesn't really need a table, although it can be a little easier.

    That's all I can really think of at the moment.

    I'd love to see a good MD hack.

    I know some people who are into rom hacking as well and I might consider working with them. Maybe.

    A hack that added new items (like a surfboard allowing non Water types to swim, etc) and more terrain in the dungeons instead of empty rooms would be neat.
