Pokemon Nicknames?

I really like these.

I remember my first nickname was my Magikarp, which I named Magikrap and got confused a long time later when it evolved and I thought it kept its name...

Now, I nickname every once in a while. Usually when I do challenges. My favorites are:

Orion the Starmie (props to whoever named a Venomoth that, but I think it fits Starmie better)
Meteor the Aerodactyl
I always have someone named Titan, usually like a Nidoking, Gallade, etc.
Riptide the Blastoise
Tank the Charizard (its a long story)
Princess the Lapras
Nyx the Sableye

I really like odd names (like the Claydol's Wedge name) and mythological names.

i named my venomoth Orion :D
it does fit starmie better, but i felt random lol
 
Oh god i nickname everything!! heres my ultie favorites:

Jigglypuff:Strawmello (i nickname everything pink and fluffy xD)
Empoleon: Piffie
Luxray: Sparkka
Roserade: Beautirose, Lovelirose (named all the 'kids')
Swampert/Mudkip: Kippi, Kipkipp, Kipples, etc...
Sableye: Shady1 (needs better name but i migrated...)

adding more later lol hav 2 looke 'em up on My Pkmn Ranch...
 
I nickname all my main pokemon but there are a couple special ones I always nickname:
hoothoot- not going to tell cause might offend some people (not dirty)
poochyena- rocky
zigzagoon- zigzag
kangaskan- notdeadmom
exeggcute- egghead
goldeen- brim
nidoran, nidorina- jack and jill, bonnie and clyde, etc
pokemon I get annoyed with-butthead, pain, die, money pit, rawr, etc
pokemon I catch accidentally- oops, oh well, lmao, etc

otherwise pokemon are same from nicknames...
 
I never nicknamed my Pokemon until my HeartGold. For some reason I decided to try it.
I named my Ampharos Zapper.
I named my Ho-Oh Aero.
And my Feraligatr Slasher.
I still prefer to keep their original names though.
 
I do not leave a pokemon without a nickname. O_o If I listed all of my nicknames, I will be going on forever. lol
 
I tend to only nickname my shineies. But, something not stupid, like a recent shiny Weavle.
Its name was PINK!!=D
I wanted to shoot myself. >.<
But, I name certian unshiny pokemon if they are ones from my fanfic. It all depends
 
I started niccknaming when I got Diamond and that was only my starter, now I nickname everything! I have had loads of different pokemon so here's just the ones I remember the best

Miltank - Dave
Electivire - ElectricWire
Butterfree - Fat Free
Feraligatr - Snappy
Empoleon - Pingu
That's all I can remember right now. Oh yeah, and I'm trying to think of a nickname for my female Larvitar. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
 
I seem to give my Pokemon nicknames, as their Japanese names.

Like; Banette = Juppeta

I'm just THAT original.

or piledriver lol

or you could name her after a special woman in ur life ^_^
 
I have a female Tyranitar named Klondike. I think KlondikeBar was too long or something.
 
Up until P/D/Pt I named all of the pokemon I caught. It got kinda hard after a while... Now I just nic-name the ones I really like or will use a lot.

My favs:
Umbreon: Fang or Umbre (yeah real original *eye roll*)
Absol: Abby
Skitty: Kit
Farfetch'd: Lysander or Ly
Luxray: Lurai
Bedoof: Branduf (inside joke)
 
i ALWAYS nickname the first male delibird i catch:

I'd name her Vitano (Larvitar/Volcano) but that's my dumbness...

I nickname everything, Ive been doing since I was playing Blue I dont think i have a pokemon not nicknamed something

Magnetone - Electro
 
I have a Slowpoke named Getcherself. I don't think I'll ever evolve it. XD
