the 2nd pic reminds me, I think one thing about pokespe I really like that's different is that the characters can see their pokemon without having to release them from their pokeballs

by the way, in pokespe they made it clear that while trainers can see the pokemon in the pokeball, the pokemon can also see what's happening outside while they are still inside. Does this "pokeball ability" only apply to pokespe?

Welcome to all new members! How's everyone been? I've been gorging on leftover Halloween candy and sneaking some during school. Also, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because a.) I can eat a lot of candy and not feel fat, and b.) not get weird looks for reading my horror books.

Now, back on topic...

Is Volume 37 the last volume of DP or is there one more? Also, I'm SO excited that volume 13 has been confirmed!! I'm also pretty psyched about the DP volumes being released.

So, how many volumes do you thing HGSS is going to be? I think that it'll be the same number as, or a little less than, FRLG.

I have a feeling HGSS might just be as long as the Fr/Lg arc was. I mean, with game remakes, not much changes except for some new locations, plot updates and gameplay changes, so there really isn't much to elaborate on with HG/SS other than the Safari Zone, Route 47-48, the Shinjo ruins, and the PokeAthelon.
It's not like in the Fr/Lg arc, where there was an entire Island chain introduced.

Hm..I think in DPA!, there was one scene where there tops of the pokeballs could show the pokemon inside, but that was way in the first chapter.

Pokabu- Poka
Munna- Musha
Wargle- Uō (Yah, you guys are all gonna say "that make no sense, but here is a quote from a serebii user to explain the nickname: Wargle's makes more sense than it seems - Its JP name is literally Wooguru(ウォーグル), which romanizes to Wargle. A better way of spelling the nickname would be War. Or at least "Wō."

Yeah. I guess Black is copying Red and Dia's "the first half of their name is now their nickname" theme.

I think that is a lot to elaborate on in addition to the Notch-Eared Pichu Event, the Gym Leader Dojo, and the Celebi Event though I think that it is unlikely that these will be used. I wish that this wasn't the end because we never got to see Ho-Oh and Lugia despite the fact that this is the HGSS arc. Charizard and Venusaur emphasized the significance of the FRLG arc so why not Ho-Oh and Lugia in the HGSS arc. I mean the Kimono Girls could easily reappear with the Clear Bell and the Tidal Bell to summon them. If the Rocket General disappear then may Sird could have reappear and take on the role of the anatagonist for the remaining of the arc and reveal that she was the one who instructed the Generals to go to the Shinjou Ruins to control Arceus. Also where is Cynthia; isn't she suppose to be part of the Arceus Event? I would rather wait a few more years for this arc than to just end it right there even if there will be a little something added to the end it might not make a difference. Although I am quite puzzled by the fact at the beginning of the arc Gold is telling a story about what happen a few weeks ago and they never reconnected that to the plot so there could be some missing parts inbetween.

So Diamond and Pearl arc is finally coming to an end. I am hoping that it get a proper ending in the volumes and I wonder how the lost chapter will Diamond and Pearl visiting Chateau will connect to the Platinum arc.

Well Misty in the anime was afraid of bugs and no one would have probably guess that she was afraid of them. So I would be surprise if White was afraid of them too. I mean most people in real life are scared of bugs.

Ah. I was kinda expecting Lugia and Ho-oh to swoop in and battle Arceus too. Also, I know Green had a small part in a flashback, when Silver decided to see if his Father's theory about Rhydon evolving was true (and it was)! Man, but it does look like maybe the authors will elaborate more on the HG/SS arc once things manage to slow down.

Lv.54.....it appears many Gen V pokémon evolve at pseudo-legendary-esque levels, or even higher.....and some of them are only two-member-evolution-lines!

Not much clues towards their personalities as far as I know.....but I'm assuming White's got a bit of Blue's character in being able to have a business already....maybe the female Pokabu and the fear of bugs is all a scam? xD

It's cool to see all kinds of relationships they do with the main characters now.
