So...here's where you can talk about anything random (ABOUT THE POKEMON SPECIAL MANGA!!!), like your favorite characters, why this certain character is this way, blah, blah, blah....Shipping debates...
I've notice a bit of distress in The Scans/Translations thread, where Ryan's not very happy that the board is getting slightly offtopic...So...I just felt like doing something (hopefully) nice, that benefits everyone.
Guess I was a bit too lazy to make a thread for each topic, there are just so many, and I really don't wanna make a fool of myself if I make a thread that no one answers in. Aha, so I made a broad topic thread.

Red- Hard rock
Green- soft jazz
Blue- Rap
Yellow- relaxation music
Gold- rock and roll!
Silver- he's a toughy... soft rock?
Crystal- pop
Ruby- Boy band (the music, not the band members)
Sapphire- Insane rock crazy cheese nip
Emerald- Disco... its obvious...

I wish the writers would change some of the character's outfit. I mean the character in the Pokemon anime changes outfits. Yes I am aware that the writers of Pokemon Special will not change Gold, Silver, and Crystal will not change outfit unless there game counterparts do so, that is if their game counterparts make another game appearance. but there is really no excuse for the writers not to change Yellow's clothes because she is an orginally character and it really should not be hard to think of a character clothing. I know I am probably complain too much, but I do not like the idea of the characters growing and still wearing the same clothes or larger clothes identical to them when they were younger.

I also wonder if the writers will make Pearl go to Sunyshore City since it is next to Lake Valor and I wonder if he will meet Volkner. I got a feeling that Volkner may appear in the next month issue and I got a feel they might not get along well. I could be wrong though. I also wondering if Jasmine going to appear in the Diamond and Pearl arc Sunyshore City as well? If she does I hope the writers give her major role just like they gave Lorelei during the FRLG arc.

Platina looks bad. I know her eyes are different, neutrally, not better, not worse. The difference doesn't mean anything to me, but for some reason, everyone else think she's beautiful with eyes like hers. I kind of liked how the characters' eyes are coloured to their names

Is it just me, or are the personalities of the main characters worsening? I miss the old Sapphire who doesn't mind being boyish. It's rare to see a tomboy in any manga at all. I miss the old Ruby too, with his unwillingness to fight, plus his emerald outfit (in the RS saga). I just hate the monochrome of his E outfit.

On the other hand, I love Hajime from PR V/Batonnage, although I'd love to see Hitomi execute a capture as well. The series should still count as part of Special, afterall, it was the work of the same authors of PokéSpe.

For Sapphire and Ruby to change, well, it's something called character development. Nobody stays the same forever, but I love the things about them that do.

And yes, I'm pretty damn sure that the Ranger Manga-verse takes place in the Special one. I wish some rangers would at least make a cameo soon in Special...Hajime/Kellyn and Hitomi/Kate are awesome!

I bet Kate would try to dismantle a Pokedex...

It's not worsening, it happens with age. What monochrome are you talking about?

Well, I have to say, I like very much the Gym Leaders, they're so different, everyone with his own ideals, his own goals. I love them (I want to be a Gym Leader when I grow up XD)
And I like very much the shippings RedxMisty and WallacexWinona, they just make a perfect pair of perfect couples haha

I also like the original Ruby and Sapphire. The maniatic boy and the though girl made me laugh a lot, I hope they remain being the same...

Also, I realized Pok'emon Specials is one of the stronger manga worlds out there, almost on the level of others such as YuYu Hakasho, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Digimon, Saint Seiya/Knights of the Zodiac, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Also just as underrated(when compared to those such as Bleach or Naruto or Haruhi, which are indeed overrated).

I hope they add it the Manaphy egg to Pokemon Special. I heard that they were written by the same author or so I was told. I notice that there are fourteen legendary Pokemon in the fourth generation, unlike there were ten in the third generation and six in the geneartions, and five in the first generation. I wonder how will the writers of Pokemon Special will incoperate all of them in the Pokemon Special?

for twelve years they've been doin a better job then the anime. its probably because they dont have the same limitations of rating that the anime has.

I agree with you that is too much of an overload of Pokemon in two arcs and Pokemon Special has to rely on the games plots off of. Not to mention the writers may not focus on some legendary Pokemon too well than others or leave some of them out of the manga. I also think that a Gold and Silver remake/arc would help this situation.

that may be so, but I think they are good for a while. the games have just been getting better and better. I mean look at platinum, its gonna be like nothing pokemon has evr presented before. from wat I see, it might actually be the first pokemon game to produce a GOOD story line.
