Proposal: Pokemon Sun & Moon - Article ideas!

    It's an exciting time to have a new pokemon news site. =) Let's consider what sort of articles we want to have! You don't have to want to be a writer to suggest what sort of articles you want to see as well.

    Top of my head before I sleep:

    - In-depth analysis of what we know from each screenshot from the video (all 5 seconds worth =p)
    - Speculation/"wants" articles, e.g. taking posts of what members want in the new games
    --- "Maybe some speculative discussion on new Pokemon ideas/new Types/etc. :D"
    - Reactions - see above but what people thought of the direct. Could even include an article poll or few [did you like the direct? [yes, kinda, not really, worse than sunkern]]
    - More detailed article on the Pokemon bank info (pokes in Pokemon RBY --> Pokemon SM) and thoughts on how that will work [e.g. need to look at what moves can be transferred over too! gen 1 move learnsets are weird]
    --- Can make a parallel to how trading between RBY and GSC worked [then: genders added, Special stat split, etc; now: different IV system to begin with!]


    Shoot! You can also volunteer for writing if you'd like.

    For the article about Pokemon Bank information, could there be a part that recalls the transfer of Pokemon from R/B/Y to G/S/C? It's like the same idea, where Pokemon were transferred from games with very limited information up to games with all sorts of added information (genders, hold items, and the split of the Special stat).

    General speculation roundup like those Pokemon Memory articles, perhaps? Another way is also maybe to have a speculation contest and making an article out of that.

    I think that's a good parallel to draw there.

    Updated first post. Maybe after some rest I will consider beginning an article tonight on the Pokemon Bank info and what we can expect of it, etc.

    We have news of a grand amount - so hence we have a lot of info to discuss, speculate on, have an opinion on, etc. Suggest any article ideas you may have to do with Sun and Moon!

    Throwing out ideas
    - Discussion on delay of Europe game release (again) - 23rd this time as opposed to 18th november
    - trainer customisation
    - legendary pokemon thoughts

    One on starter pokemon is already being made, and a region info/analysis one has been put up too.

    Also we can make a video out of existing articles/to accompany other articles and post both together!
     
    this may seem redundant, but maybe a feature article called "Road to the Reveal" a compilation of all the scattered news and leaks leading up to the recently released teaser trailer. It will start on the 20th Anniversary reveal, to the CoroCoro info, to trademarked Japanese names, to the Masuda announcement until the big reveal of the starters, region & legendary. ^_^
     
    While I don't like the idea of speculation articles...

    I second this idea. I've got a lot of other stuff on my plate rn so I can't really do it, but someone else should
     
    It would be good to see some fan art on possible Pokemon I mean we already know that it is going to be about Hawaii so art from the animals that live in Hawaii.
