Post Your Yu-Gi-Oh! Deck: Rate and Fix

Not open for further replies.
What, is that his effect? I wasn't aware he had one, as I've never seen one before.

Here's the effect of Little Winguard:

Once during each of your End Phases, you can change the battle position of this card.

I took your advice, Pogiforce-14 and Vagabond Aeon, and remade my deck. It wins a significant amount more now, so I guess I owe you guys.

Here it is (I'm still waiting for that Buster Blader). It's the best I can do with the cards I have.

--Monsters--
-Summoned Skull
-Zolga
-Blue-Eyes White Dragon (2)
-Peten the Dark Clown (3)
-Chaos Sorcerer
-Kaiser Sea Horse
-Neo Aqua Madoor
-Dark Magician (2)
-Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands
-Sorcerer of Dark Magic (2)
-Spirit of Flames
-Dark Blade
-Royal Magical Library
-Witch of the Black Forest
-Paladin of White Dragon

--Spells--
-Nobleman of Crossout
-Premature Burial
-Offerings to the Doomed
-Malevolent Nuzzler (2)
-Hammer Shot
-Monster Reborn
-White Dragon Ritual
-Swords of Revealing Light
-Mystical Space Typhoon

--Traps--
-Raigeki Break
-Ordeal of a Traveler
-Magic Jammer (2)
-Bottomless Trap Hole
-Enchanted Javelin
-Waboku
-Riryoku Field
-Shadow Spell
-Armor Break

-I decided to ditch my Sphinxes because they depend too much on Pyramid of Light, and they are rather costly.

-My Blue-Eyeses are summoned constantly, due to Paladin of White Dragon and Kaiser Sea Horse, so I kept them.

-I added some more spellcasters in place of the old Sphinxes, and added another Sorcerer of DM. The odds increase! I've also decided to drive my deck to strong spellcasters, considering my 2 best cards are (or will be) Dark Paladin and Sorcerer of Dark Magic. Dark Paladin also requires dragons (Blue-Eyes) to work effeciently.

-I powered up my traps, and I'm working on those spells- after Christmas I should have enough cards to do that!

-After watching the Yu-Gi-Oh movie, I noticed how convienent Peten the Dark Clown is. If he is destroyed, you can summon another, even if you use him as a tribute! So in goes 3 of them.

-My lower-level monsters survive longer now, and their effects are all worth it.

-I really want to put my Dark Paladin in there, but I can't do it without a Buster Blader. When I get one, I'm gonna need to put some Polymerizations in (I have 2).

Thanks again, guys. I might not be able to beat some of you, but I'm happy with my deck. :)

Using all of my resources available, not being biased in any way, and using the extent of my knowledge, I have created the best deck possible with the cards I have. Regretfully, I have decided to drop my two Blue-Eyes and the cards I used to summon them. It opened up a lot of space in my deck, and I now have even more power than ever before.

--Monsters--
--(Lv1-4)
-Harpie's Brother
-Peten the Dark Clown (3)
-La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp
-Zolga
-Opticlops
-Kelbek
-Night Assailiant
-Legendary Jujitsu Master
-Dark Blade
-Spirit of Flames
-Royal Magical Library
-Infernalqueen Archfiend

--(Lv5-6)
-Summoned Skull
-Magical Marionette
-Neo Aqua Madoor
-Chaos Sorcerer

--(Lv7-10)
-Dark Necrofear
-Sorcerer of Dark Magic

--Spells---
-Soul Exchange
-Nobleman of Extermination
-Swords of Revealing Light
-Nobleman of Crossout
-Rush Recklessy
-Dark Hole
-Malevolent Nuzzler
-Monster Reborn
-Mystical Space Typhoon
-Offerings to the Doomed

--Traps--
-Raigeki Break
-Riryoku Field
-Ordeal of a Traveler
-Dust Tornado
-Armor Break
-Bottomless Trap Hole
-Shadow Spell
-Waboku
-Enchanted Javelin
-Magic Jammer

I have TOTALLY remade this deck with all of my best cards. I sacrificed complex combos for simple power. I evened-out the amount of cards that destroy monsters/destroy spells or traps; my opponent is never safe. I also added security with quick-play spells and counter traps. Like I said above, my Blue-Eyes are gone, and I'm focusing on a spellcaster deck.

-Infernalqueen Archfiend is a very powerful card. During each of my standby phases, I pay 500 life points to increase it's attack by 1000. It can also negate the effect of any spell, trap, or monster (with a 1/3 chance) that affects it.

-Dark Necrofear and Sorcerer of Dark Magic form the backbone of my monsters. I lessened the amount of tribute monsters, and kept the amount of strong low-level monsters high.

-Powerful, single cards are increased dramatically, and almost everything is harminious together. I hope this deck wins me many duels.

Mostly it is thanks to this wonderful site that I have this great advice literally at my fingertips. I know this deck may lose to many other people, this is, by far, my best deck ever, and I am proud of it and myself,

Hmm.

Monsters: You still need some more 4-star beatsticks, but it's looking better now. Try to get two more Opticlops, Harpie's Brother or Dark Blade. Zolga looks all right but don't get too reliant on it in tight situations. Ditch Spirit of the Flames. Neo Aqua Madoor = no. The rest looks... okay, I guess, you have WAY too many Tribute monsters. BTW, if this is to become a Spellcaster deck, aim for 3 Gemini Elves (1900 Spellcaster beatstick), Breaker, and maybe a couple Dark Magicians. Another Library could also be useful... also aim for Dark Magician of Chaos. Dark Necrofear is better suited for Fiend decks, but do as you wish...

Spells: Looking good. All I can really suggest here is another Nobleman of Crossout and a Premature Burial. If you want to play banlist, ditch Dark Hole and Monster Reborn. Aim for a couple Dark Magic Attacks to support Dark Magicians.

Traps: I STILL say aim for 3 CMDevices. Armor Break won't see too much play but you might catch someone off guard with it. Ordeal of a Traveler is too risky, ditch it. Try to get 2 Draining Shields over Javelin and Armor Break. Shadow Spell is nice but might be better suited for defensive-based decks - keep it anyway until you get something better, though, -700 ATK is always nice. Rest is okay. Needs a Magic Cylinder.

Well sweeties, what cards should I take out, and what should I replace? ^.^; I can't take out Mystical Elf, since my friends IRL know it's my trademark. ^.^ I'm trying to keep the deck pure light.

STEP AWAY FROM THE LIIIIIIIGHT

Okay, lemme see here.

Monsters: (MY BRAIN ASPLODE) I'll let someone else handle this as I don't feel like picking through this mess. All I have to say is: get 3 Thunder Nyan Nyans, Kaiser Sea Horses, Guardian Angel Joans, another Shining Angel, and get rid of the BEWD & Paladin. Mystic Elf is okay, I guess... just don't get too reliant on it to defend your butt. And keep in mind that Luminous Spark reduces Defense, so watch it.

Spells: In case you want to play by banlist, remove these cards: Dark Hole, Monster Reborn, Graceful Charity.

Okay, lemme see... 2 MSTs = illegal. ONE ONLY. Offerings to the Doomed is meh. Book of Moon is cool, get another one. Horn of Light is okay, but Axe of Despair is better, aim for another Axe. Book of Secret Arts doesn't fit in with this deck, ditch it. De-Spell = HECK NO. Get another Nobleman of Crossout, ditch White Dragon Ritual. Swords, Mage Power, and CoH = cool. Shield and Sword is meh, but can work in the right situation. Ditch Horn of the Unicorn and Chorus of Sanctuary.

You need: Pot of Greed, Premature Burial, Giant Trunade, Heavy Storm, another Luminous Spark, another Axe, another Nobleman of Crossout, another Book of Moon.

Traps: Gift of the Mystical Elf... yeah, sure, why not. I dunno if Waboku is restricted, but at the most I'd have one. Solar Ray is all right, I guess... Negate Attack, sure, why not. Magic Jammer is cool, Thunder of Ruler = bad. Magic Cylinder is pimp, NEVER take that out, EVER. Ceasefire can be nasty in the right situation. Draining Shield > Javelin.

You need: 3 Compulsory Evacuation Devices, 2 Draining Shields, Dust Tornado, maybe a Sakuretsu Armor or two.

THE LIGHT IT BURNS MY EYES

O_O....

DID YOU JUST CALL VENUS POINTLESS!!!!!!!

Venus is CRUCIAL to getting out the nice big 1-or-2 tribute guys out pretty easily. AND he can special summon 3 shineballs SPECIFICALLY to be thrown away to power up THE most powerful fairy, IMO....

Mudora.

Which PIKA2 seems to need 3 of. I say you step away from defenders and put more fairies and offensive light monsters into your deck. You see X-Head Cannon > Mystical Elf & Neo the Magic Swordsman, and can get VERY annoying when Luminous spark is in play. That makes it a nice 4 star 2400 drop. And 2400 attack is HARD ENOUGH to deal with when its tributed for.

Monsters: 20
3x X-Head Cannon
3x Y-Dragon Head
3x Mystical Shine Ball
2x Mudora (that USED to be Sangan-able...*cries*)
2x The Agent of Creation, Venus
2x Shining Angel
1x Cyber Jar
3x Hysteric Fairy

Tributes:
1x Airknight Parshath
1x Soul of Purity and Light

Magic:
2x Luminous Spark
2x Axe of Despair
1x Mystical Space Typhoon
2x Offerings to the Doomed
1x Serial Spell
1x Pot of Greed
1x Premature Burial
1x Change of Heart
2x Nobleman of Crossout

Traps:
3x Waboku
3x COMPULSORY EVACUATION DEVICE!!!!!! <<<*stresses this*
1x Call of the Haunted.
EDIT: 1x Torrential Tribute <<< *cant believe I forgot that....X_X*

I dont know your budget, as some of that was kinda...rare. But it shouldnt be too hard, most of the shiny things were only super rare. I say "proxy" it first and see how you like it.

If your going to throw tributes in there put in a gaurdian angel joan, for crying out loud. and yes, mystic shine ball is useless, because first, venus has to live, which in most cases she won't, and if you special summon a mystic shien ball you better pray you have a tribute in your hand, especially with only the two tributes you suggested, otherwise they will be easy life points from you by the opponent. It seems to me your depending on the benefit of an extreme. Which i can assure you won't happen often. They call it an extreme for a reason.

X_X....not trying to bash you or anything, but you seem like a player that lacks strategy. The shineballs are there to DIE obviously, because theyre a very easy boost for our little friend Mudora here. And on top of that, it depends on how and when you play it, as all cards do. SURE you wont wanna topdeck a shineball, nine times outta ten, but once you get a Venus out, all 3 are out of the way. Shining Angel is there to speed up THAT approach. And on top of that, MOST of the time you wouldnt want to topdeck a monster that needs a tribute, which is why 2 hi-level monsters in a deck > one. And In not "throwing" tributes in there, every monster, magic, and trap card has a reason for being in the deck, like Airknights ability to pick up the PACE in that deck if the need be. I ran this EXACT deck in YVD last night against some of my tournament-winning personal friends, and it went toe-to-toe with them, and it managed to WIN more than it LOST.

Stop thinking inside the fraggin box for awhile, and you'll see that cards like Mystical Shineball actually have a use sometimes.

Okay, now on to me posting my deck, (Im still working out the kinks, a little)

The (*insert nice CREATIVE name here*) Deck:

Tribute Monsters:
1x Vampire Lord
1x Jinzo
2x Ryu Kokki

Non-Tribute Monsters:
3x Pyramid Turtle
3x Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower
3x Royal Keeper
2x Don Zaloog
3x Regenerating Mummy (This is the slow-down card, looking for a nice replacement...)
2x Magician of Faith
1x Cyber Jar

Magic Cards:
3x Book of Life
1x Premature Burial
2x Nobleman of Crossout
3x Axe of Despair
1x Pot of Greed
1x Mystical Space Typhoon

Trap Cards:
3x Rope of Life
1x Call of the Haunted
3x Compulsory Evacustion Device
3x Dust Tornado

As I said before, Im still tweaking it, but it has a curent win rate of 80%.

Orochi: I assume that 20% loss rate is from me amirite XD

Mistys_brother: omg Tyrant Dragon. This calls for a Dragon deck... All I can say is get three Stamping Destructions and make good use of your dragons.

Yeah but I never seem to find any good low lvl dragons ... the nearest good ones I have are Horus the Black Fire Dragon LV4 and Luster Dragon.

That's why I made my deck the way it is and added Lord of D. so I could summon my strongest dragons easier.

Well sorry to burst your bubble, but if that is the skill of the people in your hood you wouldn't be able to handle mine. the thing about that deck with the way you posted it suggests you depend solely on those two tributes and maybe the mudora. Which isn't that special anyway. the thing is, I've learned through experience to NEVER depend so much on any single strategy, as it's way too easy to be taken down. hvae multiple strategies in a deck. Mine, for example, is a combination beatdown/control deck. That way if the beatdown doesn't work, teh control backs itself up. Therefore my deck actually operates better because it backs itself. But you speed it all up just to have tributes available, and you waste your mosnter spaces that way. soul exchange, cost down, and other such cards are much meaner and don't require those weak little balls of light. And it also makes you less dependent on that single strategy. So you tribute two mystic shine balls for something. Okay, Trap hole, bottomless trap hole, book of moon then attack with my mystic swordsman level 4, magic cylinder the attack, then ring of destruction the monster then trap of board eraser so you have to discard a card too (a strategy I've performed several times). There are so many ways to get rid of those tributes, it isn't funny. And to build a deck solely depending on their strength is seriously flawed.

Umm thankie sweeties? ^.^;

I don't want to remove my Mystical Elf since she my trademark card. ^.^

Also about the Mystical Shine Ball and Venus, I use them to stall for time. How? *Holds Emissary of The Oasis.*
I barely Tribute in my deck. I know I lack of offense, but I stall with high denfenses till *While gaining life points. ^.^* I wait for the right time to take huge chunks of life points.
I know this stragtey is pretty cheap, but it's pretty rare for me to get new cards. T-T

Okay, so you have a few magic and trap cards BIG whoop. I would love to play you IRL one day. Oh. And. BTW. Ring + Barrel Behind the Door > Ring + Trap of Board Eraser.
If you run beatdown/control, you should be running Don Zaloog and sidedecking Robbin Goblin anyway... :\

VA: No, that was a nice sized contribution to the 15% loss rate for my swarm/discard deck...thats why Im tweaking it. I have YOU to thank for finding one of my deck's weak points. Yay to you, bro! lol
