Suggestion: Preview your profile

So I was thinking of something when I was looking at someone else's suggestions about other things which have no relation to this. I know there are a lot of people who change their profile a lot, or like to make it look good, so I was wondering if it would be possible that when you click the preview button when changing your profile around, that it would make a pop-up box of what your profile would look like with those changes, instead of the little box on the page.

What I mean is make a pop-up box, in which you see when you go to preview your profile. I think it would give people more freedom to see their profile instead of saving all the time to see your profile.

It doesn't have to be a pop-up box either. It could be a similar function to the signature thing, where you can preview it before you change it permanently, but I thought a pop-up box would be easier since profiles are quite large.

I think this would be a great feature, the little preview box we have already doesn't really work that well out for me at all.

I love this idea. I used to change profiles a looot, and now I don't, pretty much due to having to have two tabs of original profile and altered profile to quickly change between designs and I just... don't really bother now due to that.

If it's possible, that'd be awesome. :D

Wow, this would be awesome. I support this idea. I don't actually change my profile all that much, but it's better than having to use that little useless profile previewer thingy. I recently tried changing my profile around and it was a pain because the preview tool wasn't that accurate.

Yeah I agree. In fact, I was thinking of the same idea while I was fiddling around with my profile colors for PC's Prettiest Profile Contest. It's troublesome having to save your profile colors and editing just so that you can take a look at how other members view your profile.. even when you're not really satisfied with it and just want to have a look. And the little preview box just isn't broad enough for me. So yes, it would be a splendid feature.

Nice idea. I change my profile quite a lot and I would love to have something like this. The preview box isn't really a help to me, so this idea would come out handy. I support it!

I agree with this idea. This feature would be good for the community, because people like me get annoyed just saving their changes just to see what it looks like. I hope this comes sooner than later.:)

I think this is a wonderful idea, tbh. I usually change my profile a lot because my opinion of how good it looks usually deteriorates pretty quickly. It's kind of annoying to have to spam refresh on my profile and a couple of times I've been asked what the heck was going on with my profile because I was in the middle of changing it. If we could make a preview function like this I'd be pleasantly surprised, but I suppose the way it is now isn't too terrible either.

I would love a feature like this. Usually when I'm working on a new profile style, I'm always refreshing my profile on another tab just to check what the updates look like. I never thought the preset preview it has now was efficient enough anyway. There was always something that came off as different when I actually viewed it on my profile compared to the preview. As long as it doesn't count my VMs as read though, then I'd surely love for this to be implemented if possible.

This is great! Now, when changing profiles, you don't need to Save, then look at your profile, then go back, and repeating that process over and over again.
It would be much easier with a preview box.

I have to save my new profile settings, log out, open a second tab to view my profile, sob about its disproportions, log in and upload a better album pic.. I can't afford viewing my profile while logged in because my recent VMs are then counted as read. 'o'

I like this idea a lot. Sometimes when I change my profile or BG profile; the box doesn't show the full preview on what it'll look like. This'll be a much better feature then the small box.

I think if something like this could be implemented for standard profiles, then it could be implemented for blogs. But let's just stick wih profiles for now, since people don't really change their blogs as oftern as they do with their usual profiles.

This is an excellent idea! Fantastic!! I don't change my profile because of the trouble of saving and refreshing the page. If this idea works, I can finally get a taste of changing my dull profile for once! XD

Well this is a good idea, so i don't have to keep going back and forth through the profile and change profile colors pages, lol, its exhausting when i'm trying to get a good looking profile.
