Leaders/E4 using Pokemon whose Megas change to a different type, yes or no?

I think that sounds fair, so the Champs team is whatever they beat the league with, and the challenger uses their challenge team?

I suppose it works very well, since we can refer to the Hall of Fames in both divisions to check what the Champs teams should be. Woo.

Exactly. You then can't beat the League and substitute, say, a Pachirisu on your team to divert attention away from another important team member. If you are the Champion, you proved you are best with your team. It's like if Cynthia no longer had a Garchomp, or if Diantha let her Mega Gardevoir be replaced.
 
Regarding how Lucky#13 was subbed when he wasn't challenged, I think there should be a new rule. How about the challenger HAS to post on the challenge thread who they are challenging, AND give that person a VM? That way, we can easily tell who's fault it was (Challenger or GL/E4). (Not that I'm faulting you, Lucky#13!)

Thoughts?

I already took charge of the situation and suggested just that after Dark Azelf pointed me to the August 31 post. I asked, "Did you PM him?"

So that has since occurred, and hopefully that takes care of this specific instance. I always thought challengers would PM/VM (VMs easily proven) the Leaders, and that is what should be happening.
 
After Polar suggesting me to become part of the elite four. I guess I will become one. I just don't know what typing I will be so. Can I temporarily keep Tetra fire and Poison type, until I decided what type I really want?

For the Champ part, because I have both Pokemon X and Y. I keep them up pretty often. If possible I will remain Champ in my Pokemon Y, and start playing as an elite 4 in Pokemon X. Those are different characters since X is female and Y is male :P

Sure, I'll put you in Tetra's old slot. I don't remember what types are still available for picking; someone else would know. But we can't really have you as both a Champion and an E4 member of the same division. It's both a little weird and unfair to have you in 2 slots; people shouldn't have to beat you twice in the division.

I agree with this assessment. That's like if Cynthia ran the first Gym in Sinnoh only to later reveal that is her part-time job.

Actually, there's another way to think of it. There is an opening for a permanent spot on the Elite Four. If someone comes along and knocks you out as Champion, you are out - that's it. You don't get into the E4 or Gym Leader groups if there is no opening. So this is a permanent position in the Elite Four, not a temporary stint as Champion.

(And, frankly, we need Elite Four right now.)

But having gained the role of Champion already, when there is a new Champion, you can of course take your team at some point (your challenge team, not your E4 team) and take on the new Champion after some time passes. If you win, you're Champion and he or she drops to E4 if desired. If not desired, someone else moves into the hierarchy.
 
Stop pestering Azelfffff he's finnnnne, there's not like prize money involved in this or anything lol It all worked out anyways he played luck and sri with both as wins for him - so Cobra's presence is more of an issue now


Krystia - you're not downgrading xD Champs can be knocked off by other challengers at any time. Elites are there to c**kblock those would be champs on their way upImean, provide a more meta-competitive level challenge. You don't have to take poison/fire in place of Tetra, but here,

Anyways, apologies for being gone all day yesterday I thhhhink without warning, not sure if I mentioned my ridiculous class schedules for Fall 2014. I have every single class one after another on Monday lol
