Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread III

He's gone. Finally, I don't have to hear Shawn whine all of the time. I can't express my happiness over this enough. Now all 'Taker has to do is retire.
 
I knew HBK's time was almost up - but I didn't want to call the match, because I think HBK AND Taker are awesome. But the thing is:

1. I didn't want the streak to end (Thankfully it didn't)
2. I didn't want HBK to retire (But he did, it was going to happen sooner or later)

So now that's 2 of my favourite wrestlers gone in the space of a few months (First Jeff Hardy goes to TNA, now this).

This also spells the end of my favourite wrestling stable DX, which is such a shame.

My sister hated that too. Especially when I kept celebrating during Shawn's speech last night and calling him an old man who should've have left already. Boo-Yah.

Though, it is a bit sad that HBK has to go... I didn't see RAW, someone fill me in?
 
@ Bloodex Taker came out on the ramp and lowered his hat to Michael's.
Michaels thanked alot of people and at the end said "Cameron, Cheyenne, Rebbecca dont worry daddies coming home" and then when he was head up the ramp Trips' hugged him from behind and they put down some glowsticks in an X on the ramp and did a couple poses.

Honestly, I think Ric Flair ruined any Super Celebration for any retirees by going to TNA.
BTW WolfieKun. You do know Hardy wrestles for TNA now right?

No, The Miz is awesome (He says all of the time so it must be true).

They're really taking ths Sleeper Hold to a whole new level huh? Before Ziggler started using it, it never worked that well these days. But know it's like the Forgotten Superweapon all of a sudden.

First things first: SWAGGER, get your ass of Smackdown. Idiot should have cashed in against Cena... Scratch that, he shouldn't even be Mr. MitB. Should have been Chistian...

Second: Sleeperhold is certainly skyrocketing in popularity. Sorta happy Khali's out. For a while anyway

Wow. Some thoughts on smackdown

1. Swagger was MUCH BETTER than I expected
2. I hope Khali stays gone
3.NXT Rookies vs Kane. Badly booked match. It makes them all seem like heels
4. It seems as if the divas division is getting more attention than the main event division on smackdown.
5. Shad turning heel is something I like. Always been a fan of Da Beast, and id like to see what he can do without JTG

I see Punk going over Mysterio
1. Rey Mysterio is starting to slow down
2. Cutting Punks hair hurts punk and in the long run
3. Its more beneficial to have Mysterio lose since Punk has more years left in his career than Mysterio. Also it could be cool to see ReyRey play an unwilling heel


Oh and I heard Joey Mercury is coming back to Join SES. If Punk/Sterio ends up being a street fight I can see Mercury causing Rey to lose.
 
Former WCW/WWE Star Chris Kanyon Found Dead at 40

- Former WWE and WCW star Chris Kanyon was found dead in his apartment in Queens, New York early this morning at age 40. We're still waiting official details but it's believed he died from an intentional overdose of pills, a suicide.
