Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread III

Woohoo! I just saw they're not having a Guest Host for the Draft next week. Hopefully this is gonna be a permanent fixture (unless they have hosts who are ACTUAL wrestlers/wrestling fans). Tbh I'd like to see Stephanie McMahon back as RAW GM (though I heard she's pregnant atm, so that's unlikley lol :P)

Not sure if she's pregnant, but it would be awesome for her to come back.

I heard somewhere that Lesnar might come back to host a show.... I'd like to see that. I always loved Lesnar, remember this epic event?

Spoiler:

Heh,....Big Show fat. :p

Anyways, this is gonna be weird with Smackdown on Raw and Raw on Smackdown, now isn't?

Hold it, what? You talking about them changing stations or something?

No, I mean due to the volcanic ash in Iceland, the Raw superstars are stranded in Europe so the Smackdown superstars will be seen in Raw and Raw superstars will wrestle the SD tapings.

Oh really? I sorta guessed the Smackdown stars coming to Raw, but not the Raw stars on Smackdown... oh well, this should be interesting...

Maybe Raw might actually be interesting for once. Too bad for SmackDown! of course.

Jk, Jk kids. I'm hopeful that that they'll both be interesting in the same week for once.

I have no doubt that Raw should be somewhat interesting. I'm just not sure about Smackdown!...

I was enjoying the guest host last night. Nothing was wrong with him and even Jericho got into the act with his "Jer-I-Cho!"song and I was like, y'know, enjoying the show. Until Khaluber came out. What? Was Santuber stuck in Europe? Hornuber not tall enough to ride that ride? Khaluber totally killed that guest host for me last night.

I take it that your talking about Khali Didn't see Raw....

Isn't he out?

I guess not.

The Khaluber thing was made alright since the epic Lillian Garcia came back for the night. It was pretty cool seeing her back again.

Oh, so she DID come back? I've herd rumors, but I didn't believe them. Yay! xD

Here are the Raw and TNA ratings for last night:

Raw: 3.05
TNA: 1.0

The WWE RAW Brand Headed Home, Update on Tonight's SmackDown Tapings
By Marc Middleton

- The WWE RAW brand will not be able to appear on tonight's SmackDown tapings as they are still stuck in Europe.

The current plan is for them to take a bus from Belfast, Ireland to a ferry tomorrow. The ferry will take them to Scotland where they can catch a flight back to the United States. The RAW crew should land in the US late Wednesday. They will have to hit the road again on Saturday to travel for Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Tonight's SmackDown show will feature the regular talents from the brand. It's expected that WWE will air more taped videos from certain RAW Superstars.

WWE Superstar Makes His Return Tonight in a SmackDown Dark Match
By Marc Middleton

- Joey Mercury (Matthews) made his WWE return tonight in the dark match before the NXT and SmackDown tapings in Uncasville, CT. Mercury lost to Shelton Benjamin.

Mercury was re-signed by WWE at the end of 2009. He is expected to appear on SmackDown soon.

Vince Russo is great. I think. Well, that's what he's let on. It's probably false though.

I actually don't have anything against Vince Russo, as I've said before it was his ideas that conceived WWE's Attitude era which I thoroughly enjoyed, but that was a long time ago. I mean he failed miserably when called upon to save WCW, and can you honestly say that what he's done with TNA has been pleasing?

I find the matches more intersting on TNA but the characters are rather boring.

Well, they look even in talent because most of the talent was in WWE to begin with.

Exactly! I mean, RVD, Hardy, Flair, Hogan, Dudley Bros....

Shelton? SHELTON? SHELTON?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!!??!!?!?!?!?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! First Mr. Kennedy and now SHELTON??? WHY??????
They could have released Hornswoggle or Kozlov or Santino, but they release Shelton?!?!? WHAT THE ****?

My thoughts exactly, particularly on Santino. Shelton was one of the most athletic wrestlers in the WWE, and he never got the chance. TNA has to pick him up immediately. Mickie too, though I heard she might have asked for the release to focus on music.

As for the rest... eh, the Kung Fu Naki idea struggled pretty bad, Master J was going now where after the Jesse Festus break up, and Wang's story was good at first, but then got stale. Kate should have belonged to TNA this whole time. Still, potential talent going down the drain, seriously.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wang in TNA, paired with AJ he could put on a slew of truly amazing singles matches and maybe bring some of that old X Division glory back to the company.
