Quick Question and Answer Thread / Breeding Questions

The Ability Hustle, it says that physical attacks are increased power to 1.5 times but average accuracy is only 80%, does the accuracy decrease only count for physical moves or special moves as well?

The accuracy reduction is only for physical moves.

In other words, Hustle only effects physical moves. It increases attack by 50% and reduces accuracy for attack-based attacks by 20%.

Is the ability, Flash Fire affected by the item, Flame Orb?

For those who don't know, Flash Fire is an ability that makes fire type moves stronger when the pokemon is hit by a fire type move. This also makes the pokemon immune to fire attacks.

You actually pretty much answered your own question here. Its the Fire type moves that activate Flash Fire and not the Burn status, thus all you would get in return would be a Burn and attack power reduction on a Pokemon trying this with Skill Swap/Trace or no effect at all if equipped to a Fire type Pokemon, since of course, Fire types are immune to Burns.

I couldn't find anything in search so here goes,

Can you trade between Emerald and Platinum with 1 ds? Like having Platinum in the ds while having Emerald in, would you be able to trade between them?

Yep. You need to beat the E4 and get the National Dex, and then transfer them via Pal Park, which is on the Route south of Sandgem Town (Which you will need Surf to access)

That's pretty ghey. You have to beat the elite 4, and If there's almost nothing fun after that then it kinda ruins it for me. Thanks anyways.

I wouldn't be asking a forum such a noob question if I wasn't so frustrated

Okay I cannot get past 5 bonus rounds on the slots, how can I get to 10? Any tips, things I should do when the moon glows? I mean I've tried so long, I already have over 20000 coins, I really need someones advice here.

Haha I guess you're right.

Next question lol:

Is there any security for trading online? For example you want an Electivire and have to trade your electabuzz so it can evolve, what if the other person just leaves and keeps it?

You still have the Battle Frontier. I know it's not the brightest idea, making you only able to trade after beating the Elite Four, but at least it's allowed. :\

You could always do this via the GTS Trading way.

Deposit the Trade Evolution Pokemon for something that is completely impossible (Level 9 and Under Giratina is just what I use, whatever works though :P), then complete any easy trade on the GTS that is already up for offers (Look under Pokemon like Bidoof: Someone is usually just trading a Bidoof for a Bidoof). Once that trade is completed, take your Pokemon out from being depositied, and viola, evolution.

If you don't want to do that, you sort of need to trade with people you can trust. There really isn't any security forms.

When the moon is red, you have to intentionally get the wrong order. If you get it right, your streak will end. That's the only way to keep your streak going.

When the moon glows brighter, that has an opposite effect of what the red moon does and makes your bonus last longer if you do it correctly.
Also, keep in mind that the type of Clefairy affects your streaks as well. "Ditto" Clefairy (the one with the weird eyes) has the lowest chance of continuing your streak, regular Clefairy has a normal chance of continuing your streak, and shiny Clefairy has the highest chance of continuing your streak.

I dont know if this is the right place to post this but I would just like if everyone rated and critique my team and let me know how I could make it better ;
Well first off I rarely go through the game with 6 pokemon so I only have 4
Munchlax
shockwave
thunderpunch
tackle
lick
Riolu
zen headbutt
payback
quick attack
force palm
Bagon
bite
ember
rage
head butt
Mudkip
water gun
mud-slap
mud shot
tackle
I feel that this is a pretty solid team that cover the basic tatic strategy to defeat any of the in-game teams but I feel it can be better I just don't know how so I was wondering if anyone could help me.
Thank you

Just choose and level up your favorites, as the in-game opponents are insanely easy.

I can suggest that you get rid of Shock Wave on Munchlax, as it already has Thunderpunch. Eventually, replace Mudkip's Water Gun with Waterfall and Mud Slap with Earthquake. Try to get a Special based pokemon, or turn Riolu Special based. There's not much you can do early on the game..

anything can beat an In game team even a wurmple.

To complete the nat. dex do you need to see the legends to?
