    Rail Wars!

The "dream railway paradise entertainment" story is set in a parallel world where Japan did not privitize its national railways. Naoto Takayama is an ordinary high school boy who dreams of a comfortable future working for the top-rated Japanese National Railways. He is assigned as a trainee in the Railways Security Force full of odd characters such as Sakurai, a troublemaker who hates men. On top of that, an extremist group called "RJ" plots to privatize the Japanese National Railways.

I'm going to be frank, I hate Rail Wars, like a lot - I was hoping it would be primarily about trains but instead it is primarily about bad and ill-fitting fanservice.

Plus, THIS ISN'T WHAT A SKIRT DOES WHEN WORN.

I see where you're coming from, but those are some harsh feelings for just the first two episodes.

    Spoiler:

Lol jk. No way would that be possible.

I've only checked out the first episode a while back and can conclude this anime is "Trains and PL0T" TEH ANIMATION.

Bland characters and distracting fanservice take away what is already a medicore story. I hope Multi-Track Drifting makes an appearance in an episode later.

It has a badass ending. That's it. That's all I can say about this series. Nothing else is really redeeming. I mean, aside from Aoi, I don't really like any of the other characters. The plot so far is eh. I mean, it can most definitely get better later on. But right now, it's a snooze fest. Also, I was expecting more choo choo and less defusing bombs :(

I agree. I'm watching this series 100% for Sakurai. Everyone else is pretty cliche. But Sakurai. She's interesting. She doesn't fit into any of those character archetypes. There's a little bit of tsundere, strong initiative, hating the main for no reason, redhead... Maybe Makise Kurisu? Nah. She's special.

    Well... it is about trains...
In terms of the main heroines. They trained their plot.

    Spoiler:
    In anime... it DOES :D

They have some glaring issues with the animation on this one.

    Is this a new Studio?

They spent their entire budget to ensure that the breasts moved as unlike real breasts as humanly possible.

They know what to do with budget =D

Wow it seems people are just watching this for the fanservice now. XD
There was any other reason to begin with after the first episode? =D

Hm, well, if the ending is really the only thing it has going for it, then I guess I'll put this one off until it's done so I can just marathon it. If it's really that bad I will probably just end up dropping it if I watch weekly.

Me and my friend made a pact to watch this show because the basic plot sounded a bit ridiculous (terrorists trying to privatise the railways? oh how evil of them) and so far the show has been just about as ridiculous as possible. It is funny in a non intentional way for those moments though (knife attack episode 1, bomb strapped to a dog of all things etc.).

Eh it's reasonably entertaining enough even if it is pure garbage so I'll ride it out for that supposedly good ending.

Episode 4: MC gets an idol in his Harem Train.

The way she managed to decide she liked him (or was it even love I can't remember) in that episode was another ridiculous moment, but oh well.
