Random friend requests?

I get them, and while there nice, I sometimes add, sometimes not. No real rhyme or reason.
 
I hate them. Despise them, even. =/ I get a least one random friend request a day. As flattering as it is, don't do it. >.>

But what really gets my gull is when I reply to them that I won't accept their request, but I'd love to get to know them so that we can be friends, and they don't reply back. =| Stupid. .​
 
I send them a VM before I accept, and if they're willing to talk for a bit, them I'll add them. If not, I deny the request.

... Well, I would, but I don't get any, so all is well. :]
 
Well, I've got a few random friend requests recently and although it's nice and all... I prefer to know people before accepting them. At the very least, have had one conversation beforehand. Hence, I've been automatically declining any of the recent requests.
 
Never ever ever ever ever ever ever send me a random friend request or I'll reject it.

Personally, I talk with the person first. What's the point in having someone in your friends list if you've never even talked? I don't see one.
 
I'll add anyone who wants to be there if they make the effort to prove they belong there other than sending a request.
 
I'm fine with that, no problems.
I won't even bother to delete the friends I have.
 
Random friend requests are alright, I just don't mind them.
 
I accept all the friend requests. If someone actually cared enough to ask me, I want to be their friend.
