7/10. I used to think Pikachu was overrated because it was the mascot of the series and constantly promoted. However, Pikachu has grown on me over the years. I realized that I always loved Ash's Pikachu and I wanted to try out Pikachu more in the games. I even bought the Let's Go series just so I can give Pikachu some attention, but unfortunately, ended up not liking the game. In battle, Pikachu hits like a truck when holding a Light Ball and you can do some fun stuff with it.
