I hear a lot from kids my class always talking about parties. "Did you go to ____'s party last Friday" or "Hey you heard what happened at ____'s party on Saturday"?.

How often do you go to parties?

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon

How often do you go to parties?
    : Very rarely.

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?
: It depends, but most of the time, it's somewhere else.

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?
    : Family.

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?
    : I'd still go.

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon?
: I just do whatever I feel like doing, but most of the time, I either take part or hang out by myself.

I've been to a fair few and they all had one thing in common, they mostly sucked. I barely have the tolerance to put up with one annoying person, and there's nearly always a collection of douches I don't know/like, and half the time they'll try stealing my booze and cigarettes. Then I'll have to scrape together my change to pay for the train/taxi fare home in the morning; go home to find my wallet empty for a night that was just mediocre.

And then on the flip side there are 'parties' where everyone's drinking orange juice and then go home at 9. Nice for some, but not really my idea of fun.

Whereas hanging out with select friends, they don't steal from you, they split costs, and most importantly it's always been fun.

How often do you go to parties?
    Rarely

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?

    It varies

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?

    Friends, duuuuhh.

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?

    Hell no

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon?

When I see interesting ppl I try to start a conversation with them but when it starts to get boring I either leave secretly, hoping that nobody saw me or hide in a corner of the room waiting for the party to end.

How often do you go to parties?
    Rarely

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?
If it's my older relatives; their house. But if it's my younger relatives, then it's a restaurant.

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?
Family because my friends are immature and weird.

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?
No because I'm not a dweeb.

    EAT FOOD!

I have never been to a party party. Maybe that'll change this year. But yeah, the only parties I've been to are just birthday parties. I don't really like social things like that too much. I just feel awkward and out of place. Heck, I don't even invite friends to my birthday parties. I just have family over and I call that a party. :(

Crowded social gatherings make me feel uncomfortable, and there's usually a pressure to be outgoing, which isn't my style.

How often do you go to parties?

Almost never, I'm incredibly shy! I go to friends' birthday parties when invited sometimes. I have never been to a party that was held for the sake of partying. Not too sure I've even been invited to one LOL

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?

    Usually their houses.

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?

LOL nobody in my family holds parties.

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?

If they asked me so they'd feel less awkward, maybe. If they were just inviting me to be polite, I'd turn it down, because I'm too shy.

What do you usually do at parties: converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon?

    HIDE IN THE CORNER.

I'm in the same boat. Not that I'd feel awkward, it's just if you don't really know anybody too well, it's kinda boring. :>

How often do you go to parties?
I wouldn't call them parties, but I go to big hangouts quite a bit. I used to go almost everyday my first year of college but due to class conflicts it's gone down to a few times a week.

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?
Someones house or out at a restaurant.

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?
Well by choice I go to my friends, but I usually HAVE to go to my family parties, which aren't too often. Just holidays :)

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?
Of course :) I've done this a few times and as long as I know one person it's fine.

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon
Talk to people! Then I migrate over to the videogame section and play whatever they got going, that's usually my big ice breaker and how I meet people with larger groups.

How often do you go to parties?
Just twice in my whole life. They were both family parties.

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?
    At the community club.

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?
    Family.

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?
What friend? Well assuming I did have a friend and this happened, I wouldn't go. I likely wouldn't know anyone there and wouldn't have much fun because my friend would probably abandon me to go talk to someone more interesting.

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon?
Well at those I danced on picnic tables... But if it wasn't a family party I'd probably just hide in the corner.

How often do you go to parties? Almost never. I only go if one of my closest friends host it, and they barely do.

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?
Someone's house. Usually it's some annoying girl in my school.

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?
    Friends.

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?
No. I'd rather troll online at funnyjunk or do something equally stupid instead.

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon
Usually the latter (third option), but if they're playing games that I like, hell yes. Then I'm in.

How often do you go to parties?
    Never have.

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?
    Wouldn't know.

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?
This happened to me in 10th grade, and I said no.

How often do you go to parties?

However often one is on! I love going to parties and if one of my friends is throwing one, I'll most likely show up if I'm able to. Why not?

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?

Since most of my friends and I are having a hard time going out drinking with age issues, normally people's houses. It is probably possible to blag your way into a pub or club or something along those lines, but it's difficult, especially for me since I look about 14 lmao. I'd probably need a fake ID or something along those lines. There are no real age restrictions at peoples' houses and the drinks there are free, so it works pretty well although it doesn't have the same atmosphere or enjoyment factor and they are much harder to pull off. I've never held one at my house.

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?

Friends, since we hardly ever have family parties and I find friends' parties far less awkward and more enjoyable because there are no huge age differences and all all that. Family parties can still be nice but it's just not the same as a friends' one, especially since friends are often having big parties like their 18th or whatever now, so you can get to go to some great ones.

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?

Yeah, absolutely! If they're friends with my friend, and they're open to anyone, then I don't really need any other reason to go, do I? I'm sure that if I met the person I could get on with them in a nice relaxed atmosphere anyway. I would double-check though that the host is ok with letting people they don't know in. It'd be so embarrassing to show up and realise that I wasn't actually welcome there because I don't know the host. >_<

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon?

Why go to a party to sit in the corner? I spend as much time socialising as possible, although I'm not really trying to be the life of the party because I don't like being put in the spotlight like that. That said, if I do somehow end up being in that position, then sure I'll go with it.

I've been told I have an open invitation to any party that goes on, but I never go because I usually hate more than half the people there. I would prefer hanging out with a select group of people, but everyone always wants to invite as many people as they can to chip in money which means in the end I always end up with a giant group of people I hate. The funny part is everyone else always agrees that they hate them too, but we just have to use them "for now." Which means every single time apparently.

It just kind of sucks because there are times where I really want to go out, but then when looking at my options find it better to do something else. I've just been trapped within the same circle of people for the longest time and now I find every little thing they do to be so annoying. I suppose I could just suck it up and drink myself into a really drunken state and hope that by then I won't be bothered by them, but I honestly just rather wait until next year when I go to college and hopefully meet all new fun people who I'd be more likely to have a good time with.

I never go to parties, I'm just not that kind of person. I prefer to be online or read or play video games or watch TV. I love going out with my friends and doing stuff, but parties are just too loud and crazy for me to enjoy. I'd rather talk to people than dance with them.

How often do you go to parties?

lots. i have lots of friends and we all love alcohol.

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?

we go to 'clubs' if we hit the town which can be great but these days it's mostly people's houses. what do i care so long as there's hot girls and alcohol?

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?

hahaha is that a real question?

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?

    - definite chance of alcohol present

    - extremely strong chance of hot girls being present

    i'm sold!

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon

    Once in a blue moon.

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?
    Someones house.

Family or Friends? Which do you go more to?
Family is pretty much compulsory, so I'd have to say I go to family parties more often.

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?
Eh, it depends. It's mainly if I can actually be bothered to go to the party.

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon?
You might as well converse, otherwise just go home and do 'the stranger' on yourself. :/

    Once or twice a month.

Where are the parties usually held, out in town or at someone's house?

Your friend asks you to go to _____'s party. You don't actually know that person but you know they are friends with your friend. Would you still go?

Depends on who goes, if I know a lot of people who are going, I'll go.

What do you usually do at parties, converse with people, go with the crowd or just hide in the corner of the room hoping for the party to finish soon
