6th Gen Region Name Speculation

Like the Axis idea. Perhaps like Axohme region?
 
I didn't know it was based on France! Tres bon! :) My French sucks, sorry.

Anyway, not a French name, but perhaps Genecia? Since X and Y are both chromosomes in genetics, I went for a name with gene in it haha. -cia is just for added pretty flair. It's nice and flowing, like the two legendary mascots. ...They seem flowy and pretty anyway.

Seriously, though, I like the sound on Centre. I mean, this is the game that starts off the 3DS series of main games (if more are to come). Making them the "heart", if you would, which a heart is in the "center" of the chest, and Centre, is French for center, which is...in the center of France.

Centre - center - center of the 3DS Pokemon main game world = makes sense to me.
 
Centre seems nice, but a bit too bland imo. I mean heck, there's a Center, Alabama. XD I think it'd be better to have a name a little more out of the box than that.
 
I'm hoping they continue the "Unova" trend by inserting the letter "U" in front of the name of a car that's been out of production for 15+ years. So I'm looking forward to the new region being called...

Or barring that how about giving the region a normal sounding name for a change? Something like "Lakewood Heights" or "Parkview Commons."
 
I'd like something to do with helixes, so whatever fits there... Helexcity or w/e would fit wonderfully imo!
 
For my name speculation for the new region in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y... I believe it would be either called Lifone (a combination of Life and One) or Livone (a combination of Live and One)

Or... it might be called Vieun (a combination of Life and One in French). xD

Or... it could be called Vitaunum (a combination of Life and One in Latin), does this one sound more Unova-ish? xD
 
I absolutely have no idea what it is.
Hopefullyyyy something that's not lame,weird or whatever.

Hollyx. Can't break it up from there, that's not holy, that's holly, a plant for heck's sake.
 
Plot twist: Game Freak gets some word related to planes (as in the kind you use in math), puts it into any language, butchers it, and uses it as the region name.

But in all seriousness, I think it might have something to do with France.

lmao I think that's actually possible... unfortunately. :x Like that doesn't sound that bad of an idea, it'd totally throw fans off at least? ;)

Even though we have no information other than the fact that the region might be based on Europe, What do you think the new Region's name is going to be?

I have a bunch of possible names, but my favorite is Cargesto (pronounced car-JES-toe).
it's a scrambling of "escargot", you know, Europe and all that. xD

Others include Spina, Europa, Terre, and New Unova(for the lulz).
 
France is sometimes referred to as 'the hexagon' (l'Hexagone) because of its shape. Something with that word in it would be a nice reference without being overtly French. And of course a hexagon has 6 sides, another nice reference to it being Gen VI. And if you want something with X and Y in it the name could have something with "hyx" in it.

I have no idea, but thank God I'm not the only one who thinks it looks like France anyways, I don't want to shot in the dark it, but I feel like something Eiffel-ish sounds ok xD
 
I personaly Think as new region name is ALLEOS.
Alleos is name of region when beta released Pokemon Black/White.
A beta name of Unova can be used for new Region.
