Lu-Ho, if the map script pointer in pro-header points to free space, then that map won't load, and advance map will stop responding. However, the map will be fine in game. So please can you make sure for 1.93 that if the map script pointer leads to free space, it will load the map properly and not crash.

Hey LU-HO, can you add Day and Night pokemon editor on A-map 1.93. The old version can change only Day pokemon I heard that It is possible. Am i right?
 
@Bzhuan: not there aren't, they talk about what I should insert in the next version.

I wait that ZodiacDaGreat or interdpth send me the definition how they want to insert this function in the day and night system so that I can add such a function in AM.
So yes, it is possible, but not yet, they have to code this function first in the D&N System
 
Dude...that would be insanely hard to implement
AT BEST it could insert maybe a tilemap and tileset.
Which is still kinda ridiculous
Thanks to NTME's latest release, inserting the worldmap is easier than crap, so stop being lazy.
 
what are the hidden values of all the hidden items in firered? i don't like it when i talk to a hidden item and i realize its not there because i used it for something else. does anyone know what values i could use so that it doesn't happen again?

but..
1. An undo feature.
2. Easier to insert tiles? (if possiable)
more. but this is great already :)

Read the readme, there are all shortcuts, also the one for "big block" / the stamp function.

Really? I read it, and never saw anything like that..

The hotkeys are visible once you click on the menus, right behind the description.

Here we'll quickly explain most frequently needed hot keys.

Map view:
------------
Left mouse button => Draw current block / Stamp.
Middle mouse button => Fill tool, replace all connected blocks of the same type with the actual Block.
Right mouse button => Select hovered block as current.

Ctrl/Strg + Left mouse button => Draw current block.
Ctrl/Strg + Middle mouse button => Fill tool, replace allblocks of the same type with the actual Block. (also not connected Blocks.)
Ctrl/Strg + Right mouse button => Select big block/Stamp, on click and select, the selected area will be shown in a new window.


Map view - Block palette:

Hey, I'm using advance map 1.92 and I can't find the "add level script" option. I've looked under professional header view but it's still not there... Could someone help me out?
 
I tried NTME, it game me a World Map that looked like TV static. Nice try. -_-

then ur doin it wrong!
XD i think fr/lg use 4bpp where as r/s/e use 8bpp, that might be the problem there...
 
lol, take what i say with a grain of salt. i wouldn't put a bet on it, but i think i'm about 93% sure...

how about an event editor? seriously dude make AMap 1.93 with an rmxp-style map editor, being able to SEE tiles as you scroll through them and a bloody event editor. 1.92 us pissin me off now.

go to youtube and type in
"rmxp event tutorial" and you'll see what I mean, just make it possible to actually edit/make events without scripting.
Also, let us see the tiles as we scroll through them, and make selecting more than one tile cursor-friendly.... ever seen Pokémon essentials?

Learn to script like everyone else or go make a game using RMXP.

A-Map is a fantastic tool, I'm not sure anything needs changing or improving to be honest.

2: RMXP doesn't edit Roms

Well the only things i think it needs is a World map editor(Image too)
and a way to insert New Names :P
Apart from them its the best i have seen
 
Sorry, making a Very Simple "scripteditor" is not the idea of AdvanceMap.
You forgot AM is a MapEditor, not a Game Designer.
You'r free for making a Simple Script-Creater toll, and link them to AM as you do it with XSE....

Sorry i do not unterstand what ou meen with "see the tiles as we scroll through them" i see always the data i scroll through @.o? there is no blac screen or something like this......
can you show what you mean with a print screen?
there will be other Mouse gimnics in next version..
