Could someone give me a good physical moveset for a Muk for HeartGold? I would also like recommended E.Vs, Natures and Items.

Have you looked on Smogon? http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/muk
Smogon is only for competitive battling, if this moveset is for in game play only then more or less anything will work

Also, quick question guys, is it okay to post 3vs3 RMTs here yet?

A list or link of illegal movesets so I don't accidentally sav one.

Please and Thank You.

I realise that most of the illegal sets are common sense, but I just want to make sure I don't mess up.
Here's some common illegal move combinations (these are before HG/SS, so they may now be legal):

Poison Heal + Thunderpunch Breloom
Leaf Storm + Spikes Roserade
Hypnosis + Brave Bird Crobat
Nasty Plot + Hynosis Crobat
Rapid Spin + Knock Off Tentacruel
Elemental Punches + Rilvary Nidoking / Nidoqueen
Aqua Jet + Ice Punch Azumarill
Aqua Jet + Belly Drum Azumarill
Hypnosis + Baton Pass Rapidash
Wish + Aromatheraphy / Gravity Blissey
Charm + Seismic Toss Blissey
Knock Off + Body Slam Shuckle
Nasty Plot + Tri Attack Togekiss
Wish + Belly Drum Clefable
Mach Punch + Cross Chop Magmotar
Agility + Baton Pass Shedinja
Swords Dance/Agility + Baton Pass Shedinja
Hypnosis + Baton Pass Rapidash
Elemental Punches + Scrappy Miltank
Belly Drum + Baton Pass Hypno
Haze + Mirror Coat Blastoise
Haze + Mirror Coat Mantine
Haze + Mirror Coat Milotic
Aqua Jet/Ice Punch Azumarill
Aqua Jet/Belly Drum Azumarill
Hypnosis/Baton Pass Rapidash
Knock Off/Body Slam Shuckle
Nasty Plot + Tri Attack Togekiss
Wish + Belly Drum Clefable
Mach Punch + Cross Chop Magby

I assume yes, since 5th gen. teams are allowed here now as well.

Just found out Hitmontop gets Magic Coat (lol), so made a lead with it:

Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Adamant 252HP 252ATT 4spe
Technician
- Magic Guard
- Rapid Spin
- Mach Punch
- Fake Out

Does this sound good? I've been trying it and works pretty well.
EDIT: Just noticed shandera gives it hell, may put shed shell in.

That Nattorei looks good, probably would go well in trick room, though would that ruin gyro ball...? I'm not sure.

Nope, Gyro Ball's base power stays the same

I'm trying to perfect a double/triple trick room team, Dialga has always been my lead trick roomer and until recently I was using this as my second trick roomer:

Uxie @ Focus Sash
Relaxed/Sassy Nature
Ability: Levitate
252 HP / 128 DEF / 128 S.DEF
Trick Room
Helping Hand
Knock Off
Heal Bell

While Uxie is very useful with Helping Hand, it can't really inflict any damage (extremely annoying when Uxie is the only one left) so I was thinking of replacing it with Bronzong (despite worrying about the obviousness of its role as a trick roomer), I still need some help with this set (deciding on an item, nature and I'm not too sure about the moveset or EVs either)

Bronzong @ ???
Brave/Relaxed/Sassy Nature
Ability: Levitate
252 HP / 128 DEF / 128 S.DEF
Trick Room
Gyro Ball
Explosion
Hypnosis

Any help?

Just got myself a Jolly Aerodactyl, need to know a good movepool and EV spread for it. any suggestions?

Your best bet is to choose any of these sets. I would personally only use Aero as a suicide lead though as he's extremely frail and dies to common threats and priority. Plus, he's SR weak which makes him even more frail if he's not used as a lead.

There are better leads out there as well, but if you want to use Aero, I suggest that as his role.

what's an ideal learnset/EV for a metagross?

so far, I've (I do this one all the time) -
METAGROSS @ leftovers
- zen headbutt/psychic for GEN III
- earthquake/shadow claw (shadow ball for GEN III)
- meteor mash
- aerial ace

I dunno about EVs and such, but how's my learnset? and which one - earthquake or shadow claw?

(Possibly) My future 3v3 team.

I had a few ideas for a 3v3 team with a few mates so I am designing my new team for it. Please help me work out flaws and stuff :P

1: Sunflora
Item: Leftovers
Moves:
1. Giga Drain
2. Leech Seed
3. Synthesis
4. Sludge Bomb

I picked this to have some nice self healing and leech seed and poison seems a nice way to deal nice sustained damage to opponents which can be powerful to all opponents if used right.,

2: Espeon
Item: Deciding
Moves:
1. Psychic
2. Attract
3. ????
4. Shadow Ball

I picked Espeon for some nice moves to deal some damage and and also attract the opponents to help me stop some damage from coming into me.

3. Pikachu
Item: Deciding
Moves:
1. Light Ball
2. Thunder Bolt
3. Toxic
4. ????

I always use this guy in my team :D He has some handy moves too.

4: Blaziken
Item: Charcoal (Perhaps)
1. Fire Blast
2. Flamethrower
3. Sky Uppercut
4. Earthquake

5: Skarmory
Item: Deciding
1. Night Slash
2. Stealth Rock
3. Spikes
4. Steel Wing

6: Gyarados
Item: Deciding
1. Hydro Pump
2. Hail
3. Thunder Bolt
4. Ice beam

Will write descriptions later.

Thanks very much :D

PS. by 3v3 teams I mean competative 3v3 in B&W :P

Wat. Besides the fact that Sunkern's stats are the lowest in the game and that Pikachu's discharge will own all your guys... Light Ball on Pikachu; drop Psybeam, etc.

I don't think this belongs here.

Hmm, I'm looking for a Poliwrath moveset that doesn't involve sub/punch.

The sub/punch set seems nice, so I might use it, but Hypnosis could be useful, as could Overhead throw.

What are IVs and how can you breed to get them better?

IVs are "Individual Values" which dictate a pokemon's stats, as well as Hidden Power type and power. These numbers can range from 0-31, 31 being the best and producing the highest possible stat for the pokemon. Now breeding to get better IVs is trial and error in most cases, but there is a method known as RNG (Random Number Generation) which abuses the system that the game uses to determine IVs and Natures and such. I'm unfamiliar with this system to be honest, but I'm sure there's a guide somewhere on smogon.com, albeit difficult to follow.

Best of luck on breeding good pokemon!
