  • I'm looking for a stealth rock Pokemon, that would fit in among sweepers. Any Pokemon acceptable. I thought of hippowdon, is he any good? I have a tyrannitar in my group as well.
Would it be better to sub off a tyrannitar due to sandstorm affecting a Gengear, weavile, salamence and starmie?
Or do the positives of a (possible hippowden) and tyrannitar cancel out the negatives?

Azelf is good. So is Hippo, Aero, Tar, but its hard to say which one is good unless we know the other 5 pokemon on your team.

  • Can someone help me with movesets for.
    Typhlosion
    Noctowl
    Magnezone
    Red Gyarados

    Thanks.

    Typhlosion has a scarf set:

    Typhlosion @ Choice Scarf
    Rash/Modest Nature
    80 Att/ 252 SpA/ 176 Spe
    -Eruption
    -Focus Punch/Focus Blast
    -Fire Blast
    -Hidden Power [Grass]/[Rock]

    http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/noctowl

those are the only really good movesets for Noctowl. Its a pretty useless pokemon.

    http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/magnezone

there are too many movesets for Magnezone, so just pick the one you like the most.

    http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/gyarados

    same thing goes for Gyarados.

Well, if you want advice it would be best if you post what team you will be using them in. Since most of the movesets displayed are all viable, it just depends on how it fits in your team.

    - Ice Fang
    - Stealth Rock
    - Slack Off
    Item Attached: Leftovers
    Trait: Sand Stream
    EVs and Nature:
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

    Tyranitar
    The Dragon Dancer
    - Earthquake
    - Dragon Dance
    - Taunt
    - Stone Edge
    Item Attached: Leftovers
    Trait: Sandstream
    EVs and Nature:
    EVs: 76 HP / 252 Atk / 180 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    Scizor
    Physical Sweeper
    - Dragon Dance
    - Superpower
    - U-turn
    - Bullet Punch
    Item Attached: Choice Band
    Ability: Technician
    EVs and Nature:
    EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spd
    Adamant Nature

    Starmie
    Rapid Spinner - Rapid Spin
    - Recover
    - Surf
    - Thunderbolt
    Item Attached: Life Orb
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs and Nature:
    EVs: 172 HP / 216 Spd / 120 SAtk
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

    Salamence
    Specs-Mence:
    - Draco Meteor
    - Flamethrower
    - Hydro Pump
    - Dragon Pulse
    Item Attached: Choice Specs
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs and Nature:
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

    Weavile
    Physical Sweeper
    - Pursuit
    - Brick Break
    - Night Slash
    - Ice Punch
    Item Attached:Expert Belt
    Trait: Pressure
    EVs and Nature:
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

Sorry for the title, I had written something else but I got an answer.
I'm too rushed to get pictures so sorry if it looks like an eyesore. As you can see alot is copied from seribii, but I'm looking to see how I can balance my team more and replace some pokemon if needed.
    Thanks

  • Well, you won't know much because its level 1, so if you just EV train it up to like level 10-15 and keep track of how many EVs it has gained, it should be more accurate.

  • I would like suggested EV's, nature. and a moveset for: ARCANINE with "Howl & Morning Sun". Thank you.

While I'm at it, Assist sets for Weavile and Infernape as well. If possible.

    Arcanine@Life Orb
    120 HP / 252 Att / 136 Speed
    Jolly Nature
    Trait : Intimidate
    - Howl / Thunderfang
    - Morning Sun
    - Flare Blitz
    - Extremespeed

Beats + Speed Venusaur and Blaziken. Consider Thunderfang however as you are walled by Stuff like Omastar, Cloyster, Kabutops and any other bulky water otherwise i.e Slowbro. It also nails Moltres etc.

    Spikes supports this set fantastically.

Since Somgon is down, EV's, Nature, Moves, for an Extremespeed Dragonite?

There are 3 which work decently and aren't inferior to mence.

    Dragonite@Choice Band
    Adamant Nature
    252 Att / 6 Def / 252 Speed
    - Outrage
    - Extremespeed
    - Fire Punch
    - SuperPower

Thats what i use and it works very very well. Idea is to soften up all the steels with Fire Punch and SuperPower early game and then spam Outrage. Extremespeed is a potent revenge killing tool doing 80~% to frail sweepers such as Infernape and about 54-63% to Mence and Gyarados.

    Dragonite@Life Orb
    Quiet Nature
    252 Att / 240 S.Att / 16 Speed
    - SuperPower
    - Draco Meteor
    - Fire Blast
    - Extremespeed

Anti Lead/MixNite. 180 speed for Tar, Skarm, meta and all that other stuff that hovers around that area. Feel free to invest a lil more though. Id prolly stop ~30 speed evs.

    Dragonite@Life Orb
    Adamant Nature
    252 Att / 6 Def / 252 Speed
    - Dragon Dance
    - Outrage
    - Extremspeed
    - Aqua Tail / Earthquake

This works ok too. It cant hit steels well but dragon + water covers pretty much everything in the game for at least neutral and is only commonly resisted by Empoleon. A DD LO Aqua Tail does ~45% to Skarmory which is cool considering its pretty weak. Extremespeed with a DD LO boost picks of frail and scarfed junk. Use Magnezone to weaken steels though for this to be effective.
