I've decided to make a defensive (or stall) team, but I have no idea who to really use... Three pokemon I know that are gonna be on there are SkarmBlissDol (Skarmory, Blissey and Claydol) but I don't know what other defensive pokemon I should use...

Don't worry about movesets and EVs and such, I can work all that out (Feel free to do it if you choose, but it's not required)
 
Registeel has great defense and Sp. defense, but it's uber, so you could use Probopass

Mothim/Yanmega
Butterfree
Scizor
Herracross
Forretress
Crobat {even though he isn't Bug}

And a Fighting team with:

Lucario
Herracross
Gallade
Breloom
Poliwrath
Toxicroak

*sigh* Just because something is a legendary does not make it Uber... The Regis arent uber (not even Regigigas due to Slow Start)

Probopass is weak to two of the most common attack types, Fighting and Ground... And not only that, its a 4x weakness to, so no thank you...

Also I've added Spiritomb to my team, who doesn't love some good old fashioned ghosty to block Rapid Spin, especially when you are Spiking/Stealth Rocking to rack up huge passive damage
 
Okay, I guess I've got kind of a weird request. I need help building a team... but using the following Pokemon:

Arcanine
Blissey
Togekiss
Kingdra
Electivire
Gyrados
Dragonite
Typhlosion
Honchkrow
Gallade
Flygon
Salamence
Metagross
Garchomp
Skarmory
Bronzong


... What I want is a team using six of these Pokemon, pick the ones you think would be a good combination in order to cover all the bases, so to speak. If you have any tips on Evs or movesets, that would be great too!

You might wana put walls. i dont wana go hard on you because your a newb but if you need advice read the stickies
 
This is more for casual battling... with friends and people who aren't advanced at all. If nothing else, I can use a Bronzong or something along those lines.
 
i would use arcanine, honchkrow, gallade, flygon, electivire and gyrados.

its got a few different types and isnt too vulnerable to a lot of types.

if its for casual battling i wouldnt bother about evs, unless you friends are ev training

I've got a Shiny Pikachu that I want to use. It's nature is Lonely, so I need to know what I should use for it. I was thinking this:

Pikachu @ Light Ball
Lonely Nature
EVs: 104 Atk / 152 Sp. Atk / 252 Speed

Brick Break
Thunderbolt
Grass Knot
Substitute

I'm unsure about Light Ball though, because I've heard it also doubles Attack as well as Sp. Atk in the 4th Gen, but I'm uncertain. I'll evolve this guy to Raichu if I have to, but I'd like to keep him as a Pika.

I was just wondering if this set is viable. I have no idea of it's IV's it's from the GTS, but before you say "OMG HAX", I'm fairly certain it's legit. From Kanto at Lv. 3.
