Forgive my noob-ism but how do I get firepunch bestowed upon a cubone?
And when I say that I mean what breeding chain am I using?
 
Hmm I see...for the sake of not wanting to go through endless trouble to make this team....I would really appreciate it if moves involving tutors from other games were avoided....that's much more trouble than I'm willing to deal with for this.
 
Swalot Moveset anyone? Im assuming he is ussually used as a tank. His movepool deffinitelly looks like it can be used.
 
Why rest AND pain split? Wouldn't giving it something liek sludge bomb or something to hit steels be...better? ;)

It also has a great curse set.

Swalot@Leftovers
244 HP / 112 Atk / 152 Sp.Def
Sassy / Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Gunk Shot / Poison Jab
- Curse
- Rest / Pain Split / BOOOOOOMMMMMM Explosion

Curse is a great addition to its set that D/P gave it IMO.

Gunk Shot may be inaccurate but gets STAB and after a few Curses you can inflict major damage. However Poison Jab is there if you fear it missing.

It gets Fire Punch by move tutor on Emerald for steels, if you cant get that run EQ.

Last move is for recovery or to just go out with a bang, pun intended XP

Sad truth is if you run EQ you get walled by zong and Claydol and other things and if you run Fire punch Tyranitar and Heatran etc. says hi, im assuming your not going to use it for OU battles so you should be fine, unless im missing something.

I sometimes use this guy on shoddy as ive always liked it (Yes i have an extremely weird taste for pokemon as i like this and weezing lol), its quite decent however just watch out for random Earth power / Earthquakes and psychics etc.

Well, I always got the impression Pain Split was better on pokes with less Hp, is it still a good option on him?
Edit: Also, whats the difference between black sludge and leftovers on him?

Swalot can't learn both Fire Punch and Curse (in game, at least). A tutored Swalot can't get Curse, since it wasn't an egg move in 3rd gen, and if you were to send it to DP and breed, you'd lose Fire Punch.
 
What role can a Poliwrath, Omastar, Bronzong, Arbok & Arcanine fill?

Youll have to run Earthquake then.
