Okay guys. I've been thinking and decided that I need 2 pokemon to be replaced in my team. Don't ask why. The team wasn't going too good together. I'm replacing DD-Tar and Blissey with the following.

Milotic @ Leftovers
Nature:Modest
Trait:Marvel Scale
EV's:96HP/104Def/252SpAtk/56SpDef
Toxic
Surf
Ice Beam
Rest
~I'm not sure how much this will work but I hope it works.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Snorlax @ Chesto Berry/Leftovers
Nature:Adamant
EV's:252HP/252SpDef/4Spd
Rest/Return
Belly Drum
Rock Slide
Shadow Ball
~Replaces Blissey. Blissey needs to be bred many times.

No.This isn't good.I would do this set on Snorlax:
252 HP/6 Attack/252 Special Defense
Rest
Sleep Talk
Return
Crunch

As for Milotic...
Milotic@Leftovers
?(EV forgotten)
Modest/Calm/Bold
Ice Beam/HP Electric
Surf
Rest
Sleep Talk

Can I replace Rest and Sleep Talk on Milotic for Toxic and Recover? This would be better for me but should I stick with those EV's? I was thinking of Modest but Bold seems to be more popular on the net and stuff. I wasn't using the Rest/Sleep Talk combo because:
1. Don't know how to teach it Sleep Talk and
2. It's meant to replace DD-Tar as a Special Attacker, Gardevoir is my sweeper but I have nothing to back her up. If you insist though, I'll use it, just tell me where to teach her Sleep Talk.

The Toxic Recover combo could be this:
Toxic
Surf/Ice Beam
Recover

Snorlax will be hard as I don't know how to teach it Sleep Talk. Also, which Item? I'm guessing Leftovers for that moveset but Sleep Talk is the only problem I'll have with him. If you can tell me where I can get it, then I'll find it easier using that moveset.

I like cats.

Persian@Life Orb
Nature:Timid
Nasty Plot
Hypnosis
Swift
Thunderbolt/Water Pulse/Dark Pulse
EV:Max Spd & Sp.Atk

Of course, He'll be using Technician.

Yuk, me no like persian. No dark pulse or steels will wall you.

Better than dogs.

Without it, Grumpig, Hyppno, & Cressy walls me. But whatever my counters are, they can be put to deat--I-I mean, sleep.

Might have HP Fire/Fighting.

Cats beat dogs, that's true. But cows beat everything :P
AKA I need the standard milatnk please :)

ok, so i have a adamant snorlax ev trained in sp. defense and hp, anything i can do with it? it has:

curse
body slam
crunch
rest

I'd EV train it in Defense. >.<

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Defense / 56 Attack
- Rest / Earthquake / Crunch
- Body Slam
- Rest / Earthquake / Crunch
- Sleep Talk / Curse

Miltank@leftovers
252 HP / 224 DEF / 32 SPEED
Impish nature
Trait : Scrappy
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Milk Drink
- Heal bell

I like Miltank for some reason =)

Sp.Def it needs or it looses to sp.sweepers. Such as our pixie friend, Azelf =p

Snorlax@leftovers
244 HP / 28 Def / 236 Sp.D
Careful nature
Trait : Thick Fat
- Body Slam
- Crunch / Earthquake / Fire Punch / Pursuit
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Edit : Curselax is set up fodder whilst its asleep btw ;)

I have a couple of questions, but I think they're better asked here than the Q&A thread.

1. How badly does a mixed sweeping Nidoking fail? I have yet to use a Nidoking competitively(I've never even seen one used), and know Nidokings have weaknesses to a ton of common types, but I've really always loved these guys.

2. I was thinking about using Yanmega as a lead for a new team. I would protect, let speed boost bump it's stats, then sweep the next turn. Is this a good idea? Are there any common leads I should be watching out for?

No mixed Nodiking does not fail, it excels in taking out walls. With this set : -

NidoKing@life Orb
Naughty nature
252 Atk / 168 Sp.A / 88 Speed
Trait : poison point
~ Earthquake
~ Megahorn
~ Ice Beam
~ Fire Blast / Thunderbolt

Yanmega is fine for a lead, protect lets you scout. Air Slash/Bug Buzz/Protect/ Hypnosis or Hp Ice or Ground w/ max sp.att / max speed @Modest and Speed Boost

That will do it.

1) It doesnt. It's one of the best mixed sweepers in UU. Of course in OU it will fail, but so does a lot of the UU metagame. I have a set somewhere, ill try and find it.

2) Again, its a common strategy. Most people prefer hypnosis over protect though. Watch for Gyara, a very common lead, as they usually carry taunt and stop you setting up.

EDIT: DA beat me to the punch :P

Actually Nidoking can function very well in ou. It beats most common walls, from Skarmory, Cresselia, Blissey, Gliscor, Hippowdon, Donphan and a whole other host of others.

Fire Blast also 2hkos Weezing.

Meh, i eat my words. The only time I've ever faced one it failed to make much of an impact.

Cool. Thanks, both of you.

Do you think this Absol moveset I invented could work well?

Pressure Passer Trapper:

*Night Slash/Mean Look
*Swords Dance
*Baton Pass
*Thunder Wave/Will-O-Wisp
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd, 86 Def, Sp.Def, 86 HP.
Nature: Jolly/Adamant Nature (+Spd, -Sp.Atk) (+Atk, -Sp.Atk)

Night Slash and Swords Dance can work in tandem to back each other up and for STAB coverage. Once Will-O-Wisp or Thunder Wave have been used, in order to stay alive whilst Swords Dance's are being used, W-O-W has cut the opponent's Attack, Thunder Wave has given a 50% chance of immobilization and if the opponent attacks, it's PP will be depleted more rapidly due to Pressure. Baton Pass is a must for obvious reasons. If Mean Look is used over Night Slash, the trapping can be passed on using Baton Pass. This with the W-O-W or Thunder Wave help can set up the picture perfect assault. The EV split is a good equal split so that Absol can defend well. The maximum speed is a must to make sure that W-O-W or Thunder Wave can hit first.

I did do a more in-depth analysis on the Pokemon Acanthite forums. What do you think of it? Would it work well?

what would be a good heatran set?

heatran@ choice specs
modest
???
moves:
???
earth power
dragon pulse
explosion

would flamethrower, fire blast, or overheat be better for him?

Fire Blast is better on heatran, hes pretty bulky so can afford to use it effectively, besides, not much can wall a specs fire blast from that thing. If it gets a Flash Fire Boost aswell, it 2hkos standard bliss

42 HP / 252 SP.ATT / 216 SPEED for ev spread.

;)
