I was thinking of using Deoxys-E as an anti-lead lead. How's this set?

Deoxys-E @ Life Orb
Lonely/ Naughty/ Mild/ Rash
(Can't decide on a Nature- either +Atk or +SAtk)
252 Atk/ 252 SAtk/ 6 Spe (May invest more into Spe in case I want to outspeed certain Scarfers)
-Superpower (LOL Tyranitar and Weavile- possibly for Blissey later on in a match)
-Thunderbolt (Gyara and Yanmega
-Psychic/ Shadow Ball (Gengar- The split is caused by who else I want to counter, and if I really need a STAB)
-Ice Beam (Dragons, Hippowdon, and Yanmega)

Also considering: Pursuit, Psycho Boost

Only thought of this this morning, and didn't put much thought into it. Can anyone iron it out a bit?

Anti-Leading is probably the dumbest concept ever invented. Lucky for you and your D-E set, I'm pretty sure that's the sweeper most people run. As for the third slot, I would probably go for STAB since D-E lacks power. It also allows it to own Mixed Infernape.

Good lord that blissey set is aweful, 342 battles means nothing, how can we know that you havent been battling 342 complete n00bs ?

You are quite right...You don`t know who I have battled but that is a double edged sword, I could have fought 342 battles with "Noobs" (I presume it means newbie) but I could have also had 342 battles with strategic experts! Yes there are faults with my blissey set I freely admit it, but I talk to my opposition and make them doubt their stratagy so They never see the problems with blissey. I do not wish to seem agressive but I would love to hear how many battles you have lost!

So you basically admit your Blissey sucks? Really dude, standard Blissey is the best Blissey, Light Screen, Reflect, Ice Beam, switch it up if you want, but keep it simple.

Anyone know the standard Skarmory set for this metagame?

Skarmory @ shed shell / leftovers
Keen eye ability
Impish nature
252 HP / 96 Atk / 160 Def (though you can take out some atk and pour it into Defense)
- Brave bird / drill peck
- Roost
- Spikes
- Whirlwind.

Brave bird is the main option over drill peck these days. The set really explains itself.
Shed shell if your scared of Zone. Leftovers can tank more though. Your choice.

You can also put 4 speed evs into it. That's the set I use, and I must admit I love it. Even if I'm probably the biggest offense only guy around here. ;P

Ive lost 8.....Records have nothing to with the relevance, of anything or dont prove anything for that matter. I could say "Use Flail Luvdisc, it hasnt lost me a game yet", when its quite clear that Luvdisc is by far the worst pokemon ever and Flail is even worse on it due to SS and Hail.

I dont wish to seem aggressive either, but really my point was that that blissey really has some serious issues, its walled by steels, substitute users, completely Taunt-able and PHazers laugh at it, even if you do manage to stat up. Calm mind and no attacking moves makes no sense what so ever.... and neither does bulk up.

It just seems fishy to me that you havent lost with that when its quite clearly awful, and gives me reason for concern of whom your battling, or just plain lying.

Also not to mention the fact that Blissey cant even learn Bulk Up....

Needs more defense around 200 evs should do it.

What?!?

What!!! That cannot be possible, I got my blissy from a trade with my mate (One of the reasons I traded with him cuz i used my bulk up tm and i saw a good stratagy with blissey). If blissy can`t learn bulk up how do I have one that has bulk up?

I checked serebii.net and he has an action replay...Can they do that? I thought they just gave hundreds of items?

I think types of pokemon makes no difference to battles at all,Hold items are mportant, occasionally move types help but towin a match just get a pokemon with High defence and special defence stats or can heal itself (Blissey is v good as it can do both!) and use this moveset...

Softboiled,rest,recover ect
bulk up
calm mind
Toxic

PP up toxic and your healing move as much as you can

Its a waiting game but i have used this very startagy since i completed pokemon fire red and pokemon ruby. I have used it for a total of 342 battles (yes I count my battles!) and Blissey even now on pokemon pearl has NEVER lost a single match!

rofl. Seriously, you are arguing with one of the most experienced Raters/Battlers here at PC, and your back-up is THAT SET?!!1! O.0

Let me pick it apart:

- Steels completely wall you.
- Substituters completely wall you.
- Gengar completely lols, when Blissey is meant to counter it.
- All poisons can resist Toxic and stall you down with their own Toxic.
- You don't have any attacking moves, so Taunt users will make you struggle to death.
- Blissey doesn't learn Bulk Up...

Please. People post here for help and expect decent advice, but when you give crap like that, it will only hinder their efforts, especially further when they actually take that advice onboard.

Yep, you can basically hack anything, for example a Spiritomb with Wonder Guarad and with Spatial Rend.

So it looks as though your friend has done that...

Can we please just drop it guys. Blissey is a hack, it was bad advice, enough said. Let's move on~

Anyway...
I'm trying to find is an offensive threat can SR while the opponent switches to the common counter.

Before the ban, I had choice scarf Garchomp filling that role. (which sounds insane, but worked incredibly well, you wouldn't believe it) So is there a huge threat I could use that fill the same needs? Speed, SR, offense?

What pokémon & set would you guys recommend?

(note: already have Ttar and Metagross in the team)

heatran gets both SR and Roar,

I use it with a bulky ev spread Roar/SR/Lava Plume/Earth Power, it works surprisingly well.

Also you can put rest >> Roar if you wish, but i forgot Beachboy likes offense and has not time for Resting XD

Wish support is cool for it aswell =p

Aeradactyl is fast offensive but is really frail, it does get Sr though, so meh.

that is your opinion.....You may be one of the best raters/battlers there but i simply say what works for me(and since it works don`t "dis" it!). True it may appear i have traded for a hacked blissey so i will dispose of it,Apologise to those I thrashed with it and formulate a better plan...

That exactly who I was thinking... though for revenge SR, I don't think heatran the roll big enough, as it's slow. :/ Though the team could use it. I'll test it.

Haha you know me too well, booo rest. :P Nah, I'll see how it works in battle.

Aero... well hmmm. Never really thought of him.

I remember seeing a lethal team w/ an Aero lead that SR'd. Hmmm....
What set for it do you think could work? I'd like to test it.

EQ/Stone Edge/IceFang/SR ? Possibly?, you get walled by Bronzong so Fire Fang could go >> ice Fang if you wish. @Focus Sash. and as a lead though.

Ok...I apologise for my advice on blissey so now i have got rid of her i have to reform my entire party.....Any ideas cuz I usualy play very defenceive and i have no idea what could replace blissey....I am thinking about using ninetales as a special sweeper it is unusual and could be unexpected (not to mention I have already raised it to lv100) but the prob is i have no idea what move set it should have....It is lame but its current set is.....

Relaxed nature
Item:Leftovers
Dark pulse
Will-o-wisp
Flamethrower
