I just restarted my Crystal Version. What would be a good Typhlosion moveset? (It's still a Cyndaquil.) I'd like to make it my special sweeper, given its special attack remaind higher than physical.

Level: 8
HP: 26
Attack: 13
Defense: 13
SA: 17
SD: 15
Speed: 15

I may need to post my team here in a bit. I could use some opinions.

Hmm...

Typhlosion @ Whatever
LOL Natures
LOL EVs
-Flamethrower/ Fire Blast
-ThunderPunch
-Earthquake?
-Toxic?

Holy crap, Pokes in second gen had really crappy movepools.

EDIT: Zambato, I just told someone else that this is not where you post your team. Don't make me tell you that.

Hey there.
I play Pokemon Shiny Gold and I have a lv62 Meganium as a starter (don`t ask me why I picked Chikorita, I just like it and I don`t take the regular games as serious as NB), so that`s his stats etc:
Meganium @ Miracle Seed
130 ATK, 134 DEF, 132 SATK, 148 SDEF, 126 SPEED (Mild nature)
Razor Leaf
Light Screen
Body Slam
Solar Beam

It may be nooby but i`m quite noob at pokemon`s build XD
So, my main question is: should I re-teach him Synthesis? And if yes, what should I switch here?
If there`s any other suggestion about it, i`d like to hear. By the way, Shiny Gold=Fire Red basically (I guess you know that :p) so the skills should be set as well XD

Well, a Fire Red set...hmmm.

Meganium@Leftovers
Bold / Calm
252 HP, 132 Def, 124 Sp. Def,

Leech Seed
Synthesis
Reflect / Light Screen
Ancient Power / Counter / Substitute

Unfortunately, Meganium doesn't get any decent Special STAB attacks in FR/LG, so you will have to make do with those options.

What about Solar Beam? Or Giga Drain? Aren`t they good?
And by the way, it reached maxed happiness, should I put Return instead of Leech Seed or any other skill?
Oh and I got Miracle Seed, shouldn`t it make the grass skills a little better? o:

Nonono solarbeam is not good. 120Power over two turns= 60 power per turn, which is abysmal. Not to mention the fact that they have time to switch in a counter.
And return is a physical attack, whereas meganium is a more specially orientated poke.

Anyone know of a good Poké to use as the 1st in your Party? I've been experimenting with Pokémon like Gallade, Lucario and Spiritomb, but have had less success than I thought I would...

Also I would like an example of a good Tank or Wall; I am not sure if those two things are synonymous or not because Im a n00b :P. I have been thinking about Bronzong maybe?

The top 20 most used Leads during March, according to Shoddy Battle:

1. Gengar (16590 leads)
2. Bronzong (14887 leads)
3. Gyarados (12517 leads)
4. Tyranitar (11043 leads)
5. Salamence (8894 leads)
6. Yanmega (8120 leads)
7. Hippowdon (7595 leads)
8. Ninjask (7485 leads)
9. Azelf (6478 leads)
10. Infernape (6109 leads)
11. Abomasnow (5957 leads)
12. Weavile (5770 leads)
13. Swampert (5621 leads)
14. Metagross (5484 leads)
15. Crobat (4933 leads)
16. Jolteon (4682 leads)
17. Roserade (4665 leads)
18. Aerodactyl (4329 leads)
19. Zapdos (4166 leads)
20. Ambipom (3452 leads)

As for your second question, Tanks take a few hits while being mainly offensive and hitting back. Walls are meant to stop an opponent in his tracks- for example, Blissey's ability to pretty much bring a Special Sweeper to its knees.

Bronzong is more of a wall- a Mixed Wall, specifically, since it walls well on both sides of the attack spectrum.

Can someone tell me of a good Mean Look passing pokemon Ariados, Absol and Smeargle are all I can think of and I think they'l be killed to easily.

Umbreon is the most common Mean Look Trapper used.
Ok so:

Umbreon@ leftovers
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
EVs: 252hp/ 200def/ 56spdef
Synchronize
-Mean Look
-Baton Pass
-Wish
-Snatch
Really unsure of the EVs and nature but snatch on the off chance I can steal something because I'll mainly use it for BPing.

I use pretty much that same thing, but with Dark Pulse instead of Snatch. But I just prefer it being able to do damage, just in case it gets stuck.

Getting stuck? Seriously, the only attacking move that should every be used on Umbreon is Payback, and even then only ever on the Curse set, and even then...should be considered against.

Umbreon has woeful attacking strength. Its shining light is Mean Look Passing to something that can set up. As such, snatch probably isn't a good idea either, as nothing will bother statusing Umbreon, and other than that the only reason for it is to take stat-ups, and anything that is worth stat-upping will be able to 2HKO you at minimum most times anyway. Common stat-uppers are Garchomp, Porygon-Z, Azelf, Infernape. All of those can OHKO with common attacks to those sets. (Garchomp - Brick Break / Infernape - Close Combat / Porygon-Z+Azelf - Hidden Power FIGHTING)

Could I get a moveset for a mixed-sweeper Flygon?

Flygon@Life Orb
Naughty / Mild
252 Atk, 192 Spd, 64 Sp. Atk

Draco Meteor / Dragon Claw
Stone Edge
Fire Blast
Earthquake

Gallade vs Gardevoir

Ok. I have a Gardevoir in my team but I'm thinking of perhaps replacing it with a Gallade. The Gardevoir and Gallade stats, etc. are below:

Gardevoir @ Leftovers
Timid
56 HP/252 Sp. Atk./200 Speed
Psychic
Calm Mind
Thunderbolt
Will-O-Wisp
~Same as any Gardevoir used as a Special Sweeper.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Gallade @ Expert Belt
Adamant
236 HP/252 Atk/20 Sp. Def.
Close Combat
Psycho Cut
Night Slash
Swords Dance
~SD Sweeper with great EV's as far as I'm concerned.

If you wanna see my team to help you make the decision, you can find it at this website:https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=133398

If I were you Id keep Gardevoir because that's you're only true means of special attacks. The rest of your team is completely physical :/

Careful/Sassy/Calm 252 HP / 252 DEF / 6 SP.DEF, It allows it to take hits from both sides.

Also Yawn >> Snatch. Snatch it WAY too situational.

OK, I just got a fair decent Careful Shiny Regirock in a trade, and I was wondering what set I could use for him? I'll obviously have to construct a team that also involves a Sand Streamer so I can use him to his full potential.

I cant remember the standard moveset, but i know the standard spread is 252HP/252SpDef. Since the standard has a +Def nature you may need to move them round a bit.
