Does anyone know what pokemon could counter the following that doesn't have a ground or fire type weakness with decent speed?:
Skarmory, Forretress, Donphan, Hippowdown, Celebi, Suicune, Vaporeon, Gliscor

Some version of Zappy or one of the Rotom formes ?

(Actually, Ludicolo does well against those too o.0)

Looking for a moveset for a Glaceon and a Magmortar

Magmortar @ life orb
MIld
86 Att / 252 Sp. Att / 172 Speed
~Thunderbolt
~HP [Ice} / HP [Grass]
~Cross Chop
~Lava Plume

that ^ or Fire Blast / Flmethrower >> Lave Plume. Alternately specs/ scarf is a nice set where you go Focus Blast >> Cross Chop and use Modest/Timid max speed & sp.att.

Glaceon@Leftovers
252 HP / 252 SpA / 6 Speed
Modest Nature
- Ice Beam
- Fake Tears
- Hidden Power Fighting
- Wish

Glaceon@Choice Specs / Choice Scarf
252 SP.Att / 252 Speed / 6 HP
Modest Nature
- Ice Beam
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power Fighting
- Water Pulse / Sleep Talk / Wish

Alrighty, I'm looking at making a stall team, what are the 6 least used and viable walls, preferably 3 tanks and 3 walls; 2 physical, 2 special, 2 mixed.

Well, my team has a successful staller that can even stall Palmer for a very long while. Try using Cresselia as a staller. High Defensive stats, Substitute, Moonlight, Toxic, and Leftovers = 1 staller.

I said what I use about 1 or 2 pages ago.

In a matter of opinion, out of these three moves, protect, light screen, reflect, which one would benefit me more in the battle tower? I know reflect and light screen could benefit the whole team, but protect seems pretty useful if used correctly.

As a Battle Tower maniac myself, I'd say Duel Screens are far more useful than Detect or Protect.

For example, I use both screens on my lead Yawn Uxie, Reflect aiding Calm Mind Lucario, Light Screen for my Garchomp. With Yawn providing ample time to set up and sweep.

I don't really see what you'll get much out of Protect, UNLESS, you're using a toxic stalling strategy, then it'll be useful. So overall, I'd say it depends overall on what you'd like to accomplish, if you want to be aggressive and set up sweep, screens. If you want to play more of a defensive game, Protect.

When used correctly is iffy, because if the AI starts setting up Double Team, Protect won't save you, while screens can prolong team member survivability and more of a chance to hit. They certainly both have positives and negatives, but I prefer screens.

thanks that really helped

My previous question wasn't answered so I guess I'll ask again.
What is a good set for a Jumpluff lead in OU?

Jumpluff @ Leftovers
Trait: Chlorophyll
Nature: Timid / Jolly
EVs: 188 Defense / 68 Special Defense / 252 Speed
- Encore
- Sleep Powder / U-turn
- Substitute
- Leech Seed

Simple annoying strategy and SubSeeding. It's one of the fastest SubSeeders.

can some1 list a few decent special sweepers who can be used along side dd mence and sd scizor!not counting gengar and heatran!this is for the battle tower and im tired of using gengar and heatran!

Starmie@Expert Belt (or Life Orb if you're going with wifi)
Timid nature, Natural Cure
252sp.atk/252speed/6HP

Surf
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Psychic/Grass Knot

For the Battle Tower and your team, this serves as a Fire/Ice resist for the short time, and Starmie will take out other waters/fires aimed at your other two guys.

What should I make with this? Or more so, should I make anything at all?

Mudkip - #258 (Impish)
HP: 26
Att: Invalid
Def: 25 - 26
SpA: 25 - 26
SpD: 25 - 26
Speed: 4 - 5

I was thinking.....

Swampert@Leftovers
Impish Ev: 252 hp/60 defense/60 sp defense/138 attack
-Curse
-Stealth Rock
-Waterfall
-Earthquake

I did some quick math, and with 60 Ev in defense, and sp defense I get at least 300+ in both, I need max hp, and the rest into attack for stab.

Why do you need a Special Sweeper to pair with those two, anyway? o.o' In the Battle Tower, using cookie cutter Pocket Monsters like 2 physical & 1 special with absolutely no strategy will only go but so far. (Double Teaming will get you, and fast) Thus I encourage you to find another Pocket Monster (like a lead) that can not only get your team in the right direction, but solidify the chance of sweeping. There's plenty of strategies out there, you don't need to pack it full of three sweepers.

Ehhhh, just my two cents~

I'll post my Battle Tower team in a bit. :V

um..i have a slight stratergy..not really solid
salamance @focus sash

252att/252spd/6hp
