Lets see, Grass Knot's power varies depending on the weight of your opponent's pokemon(it can deal damage to a max of 120) while Energy Ball's damage is constant(with a base power of 80), but like Aurafire stated Energy Ball is better for those kind of matches.
 
Muk?

Im thinking of using my muk as a toxic stall,

nature: relaxed/modest

moveset:
Acid Armor
Toxic
Mimize
Sludge bomb

yes or no?

Special Muk=NO. His Special Attack blows, especially in comparison to his base 105 Attack.
Besides that, Minimize is banned.
 
I recently found a sassy CurseShieldon just lurking in one of my boxes..I checked it's IVs..And they were rather good..Apart from it's attack..Which was 6.

But it's Special Attack was 30..

so, do you think I could use this shieldon to make a Curse/Metal Burst Bastiodon but use the BoltBeam combo instead of Stone Edge/EQ ??

And what EVs should I use?

Not even worth fixing, to be honest, you have terrible natures, an uber and some really strange moveset choices. sorry :[

ITs OK ill coment on the high amount of mistakes for ya

MISTAKES IN BOLD

1.Never use any moves that leave you pokemon unable to attack next turn (like hyper beam and blast burn) as to normal attacks (like return or Flame thrower) will do more damage than one hyper beam.also those attacks leave you un able to switch out and can leave you open to dangerous attacks like focus punch.

2. Here a the natures you need
Absol:Adamant
Rhyperior:Adament
Garchomp:jolly
Infernape:Naive

3.Why the heck is the grip claw on garchomp,it has no use what so ever.replace with yache berry

4.Get rid of draco meteor and sand storm on garchomd and replace with either fire fang,swords dance(reccomended).you could use stone edge for ice types and crunch as a filler but fire fang and swords dance are reccomended

5.get rid of flare blitz and focus blast on infernape.replace with grass knot and thunder punch (you will have to breed for it)

6.EVS needed
garchomp atk252/spe252/HP4
infernape atk /spe /sp.atk (cant remeber the numbers)
absol atk252/spe252/Def4
leafeon atk252/spe /????
Im not to sure on evs but yours need changing.

i have slightly tweaked ur set as i dont have platinum for super power and i dont like the side affect on choice band
 
If you so badly want to use a life orb..

Replace Pursuit with Swords Dance and U-Turn with X-Scissor
 
thanx i think that i will. are there any physical bug moves that have 40-60 power if so what are they as i could use them on scizor

I would give the hand to energy ball.

When you use Substitue, does the pokemon's stats determine how long it lasts? I've been wondering that for awhile...

I wouldn't use it at all, You already have to invest heavily in HP and the defenses so it doesn't die, and that leaves little room for any Sp attack EVs to make it remotely effective =/
 
Just curious, is this forum for critiquing in-game teams (such as, the competitive team I set up on my actual Pokemon Emerald cartridge)? Or only for teams made with and for online battling programs like Shoddy?
 
Only for Shoddy/Wi-Fi teams =] In-game teams don't really have a place =/

There's no "best" water pokemon...It depends on the situation or how you want to use them. Gyrados, Starmie, Vaporeon, Kingdra, Swampert...All good water pokemon, but they fill very different rolls. Gyrados and Kingdra are more offensively oriented, while Vaporeon and Swampert are more defensive and supportive.
