    Requests & Suggestions​
    This thread is facilitated to allow our supporters to suggest any ideas, perks, or requests for the Supporters Group. i.e. larger profile picture, more pm space, etc. and to prevent multiple threads for requests within the VIP Forum. We feel integrating requests into one thread will streamline the process of reviewing any suggestions or requests for perks.

    I'll re-submit my size limit suggestion here.

    I really feel that the lower tiers need a file size limit increase for their avatars and profile pictures. The system I think would work well would be this:
    • teir 1: 100kb
    • tier 2: 125kb
    • tier 3: 150kb
    • tier 4: 200kb
    • tier 5: 250kb
    as you can see, as your tier grows so do your limitations and 250kb should be a generous amount to allow you to have a very decent profile picture that isn't hindered too much by forcing you to choose size over quality.
    In the same token, the raising of the Avatar size limit by the same system would also be a nice addition.
     
    Request: The original 'blackout' skin from April Fools 2006 to be a supporter-only/normal skin for nolstagia purposes, considering that the PokéGeneric and Todoroki skins are visible when there is little to no difference. Also, if the template is still saved, why not bring it back? :3
     
    I was thinking about Profile and blog customization and while pictures are a pretty cool treat being a supporter, I think it would be cool if we could have a little more control over some things.
    • Being able to anchor a picture to the top left, top right, and center of a section
    • having the option to change the opacity of the background of a section in increments of 10%

    these 2 options would be very useful. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to add options in the Edit Profile area for those css commands, but they would be much appreciated.

    What if we got to choose the color of our usernames? Or a colored usertitle like some admins have? Also, I saw that Careful with that axe, Pichu! has pictures where his usertitle should be. Is that just an admin thing?
     
    Well, I noticed that Pichu2 has a yellow drop shadow feature that, to be blunt, kind of ruins some profiles. So I came up with the idea for a feature that could be added for supporters so they could choose their own drop shadow colour. It could be coupled with the supporter benefit of backgrounds and gradients.

    Just a small idea :3
     
    I'm thinking maybe where you have you details under your avatar we could have something like
    Blog entries: [number]
    And possibly make it into a link to that paticular persons blogging page.
    It would be rather handy i think

    We actually had this in the past under the postcount, if I remember right. I'm assuming you're using the legacy layout, then. I remember that feature bringing more traffic to each of the blogs, so I'm not sure why it was removed.

    I would very much like to see certain tiers have the ability to request a colored/formatted usertitle once every 1/2/3/ months (depending on the donator tier, tier 5 having only a one month wait!). Admins could easily track the dates via usernotes, or via a custom profile field which is admin editable only. (Does vB support that?)

    Anyways, the request thread could be right here in this forum. There would be no annoyingly low limit to how long your usertitle could be, within reasonable limits of course, and everyone could have a nifty usertitle. :3

    Of course I understand, requesting a custom usertitle would need to be limited to once every month or more because the admins have lives too.

    I know that someone already mentioned colored usertitles in a previous post, but they didn't formally request it, and I'm expanding upon the idea and offering ways this could be made feasible in a way so that this perk doesn't make the admins' lives miserable

    I like this idea.. I like it very much...

    Can we have a vote on what colours the Supporters get? :D

    Or we could have 2 colours going on.. I mean if we vote.. And Pink and Blue get picked... The each member could pick if they wanted to be pink or blue.. But the could only changes between the two of them ones every 3 months...
     
    Bigger profile photos.

    Maybe 300x300 or something like that for teir 3 and above?

    It wouldn be nice to get some feedback on the larger profile picture concept! :D
     
    Unfortunately the only staff member that's actually replied here since BGT is Gummy. I would have no problem if they wanted to expand the limit for Tier 5 Profile pics, in fact I'm pretty sure I put up a nice summary of File size limits that would be extremely easy to set up and understand. I'd be just fine if they also wanted to raise the dimension size up for lower tiers too.
     
    It was recently changed from 130x130 to 180x180 though.
    Also I suggest we make separate suggestion threads like before. It'd get a lot more attention.
