I can't believe Starmie got a Critical Hit! My Weavile would have survived with about 4-10 HP :P And then you WW my Empoleon back to my Scizor haha.

Nah, the first Surf did a tad bit more than 50%. Unless you got lucky with damage calculations, Weavile was toast. haha I was expecting a Pursuit, so I decided to let Starmie take it... and voila, Starmie gets the first hit! Gotta love the Death Star. <3
 
Lol Zet I dont guarantee a win, hey hes one of the top battlers here (possibly #1) to beat this "demon" (sorry Richard but you are =P jkz) you need lots and lots of luck and hax, just think and hope you get a critical hit all the time Zet XD

Lol. Just based on my HP remaining with Weavile, the Surf did 3 less than half. Hmmm... odd
 
forgot to mention if there is a disconnect it might mean my internet is ****ting up, me and lumine have had a few connection error messages when we were doing some trading

Really? The way it looked, it put him well into the yellow.

Damage calculations can be random, and it's occasionally give or take 10 HP points, so it's possible he would have survived. If you were using Pursuit, it wouldn't have KOed Starmie. If Night Slash, then Starmie was dead no matter what. XD

Nooo, I squeezed an Agility in. After that, Metagross can outrun anything not named Ninjask or Electrode (no counting certain ubers).

And Zet, what happened? Was that mine or yours?

I should actually be going... are you going to be online tomorrow?

I've already got a waiting list, so why not add one more? :P

Yes, I'm sure. That moment was pretty much engraved forever into my mind as a "WHAT THE???" moment. Ever since then, I've been a lot more weary of using Wish.

Anyways, I'll give it to you that the flinchax against -------- may or may not have been crucial (as I'm not 100% sure what Porygon-Z can take, I haven't really used him enough), but the flinch against your ------ was worthless. Just gave me a free turn of Leftovers. XD Spiritomb vs. Spiritomb was classic... but I think you may have forgotten about my Dugtrio, he welcomed your Spiritomb Resting.

Eh, it doesn't matter, seeing as I would have died anyway. It would have just been closer.

I suppose...if the Will-O-Wisp hadn't worked in the nick of time, I would have gotten KOed, leaving me down one Poke. I also simply underestimated Dugtrio. However, if that critical hit hadn't happened, I could see myself handling Claydol the rest of the way (2HKO, perhaps, assuming you didn't switch), then burning Dugtrio to soften that threat, then Resting. Not game-breaking, I know, but it could have helped. Once again, I am NOT belittling (sp?) you.

Yes, that was classic, especially the double WoW and how the movesets actually looked similar at first.

Anywho, I'll be looking forward to our next battle! But yeah, next time, don't leave Skarmory in against Starmie and/or Gengar. heh, sorry, but I still don't quite know what you were trying to pull there. That's in the same boat as leaving Blissey in against a Heracross. :P You gotta be insanely good at prediction to pull something like that off.

Against Starmie, I was guessing you were either going to Rapid-Spin the setup away or (rather foolishly) it would be able to barely survive the coming hit, either of which giving me a free blow-away on you. As far as Gengar...that was just my paranoia in switching on Spikes.

Anyway, I'll be back when I'm feeling better.

Oh, hell yeah. Weavile is really the only reason why I always use a defensive lead. I used to lead with Starmie... but after coming across the ever notorious Pursuit Weavile lead, I switched up my strategy in a BIG hurry. And using Starmie, I'm constantly on the prowl for a Weavile. Metagross handles Weavile fairly well, but my team doesn't like losing its Special Sweeper.

I'm actually curious as to what your Salamence was... a DDmence, or a SpecsMence? Believe it or not, that would have made a huge difference in who would have won, since you Exploded on my Starmie. See, you have to play this game like chess; there are certain turns that nearly automatically set the outcome in stone. If your Salamence was a Dragon Dancer, you may very well have pulled off a win (if you played your cards right). You still had Dugtrio to take a hit from before KOing it, and then Blissey you'd have to pray would be OHKOed, because she would have finished the job with Ice Beam. Of course, if it was SpecsMence, it was dead to Blissey either way.

Good half-battle nonetheless! Tomorrow I'll be looking forward to the full thing.

Ichaste, don't worry about it, man. I didn't think you were belittling me, it's just the way the post sounded. But no worries nonetheless. I'm sure we have many interesting battles ahead of us (I can't help but feel we've started a [friendly?] rivalry here :P), and I'm sure any battle we have in the future won't be as haxalicious as these apparently were. It's all good!

I do hate to bump my own thread, but it's easier than just starting a new battle thread.

Anywho, I know it's early, but would anyone like to battle?
