I don't think an introduction to roaming Pokemon is required. I don't particularly mind them and I think it adds a bit of flavor to the Pokemon... if there are no more than 2. They are extremely annoying and tedious to catch in Platinum which offers 5 of them.

What do you think of Roaming Pokemon? Should they return or no?

idk how I feel because a part of me kinda wants roaming pokemon back but then I remember how annoying it was to find Mesprit, so then I'm like.... eh.... probably not...

Roaming Pokemon were pretty annoying in earlier generations. Although, if you have a Wobbuffet at the lead of your party, you can easily make it so the Pokemon in question can't run away. Paralzying them works, too. Finding the roaming Pokemon, though, man. Now, that part is aggravating.

I think it'd be fine if they returned, as long as it's not in the way they handled it in X/Y. That was bullshit.

like one or two is fine but anymore than that ugh no. fucking platinum was like you are just a little babey....... watch This

Nah. I like to catch my mons in fitting balls, and roamers would just make it tedious for me to hunt them down and proceed to feel pressured to Master Ball them. Hunting down the roamers in GSC (for both myself and a friend) was one of the most tiring things lol. Max one or two roamers, if we have to have any!

Roamers may not make life easier, but I am going to vote yea!! They can be frustrating, but that is the beauty of it! Their allure lies in their elusiveness. These are valuable pokemon that will show up randomly just when you least expect it. Furthermore you have to come up with creative strategies to keep the pokemon from escaping. It's like the disbelief and rush you get from a random encounter with a shiny pokemon. Because it can take a lot of time to get right, capturing a roamer makes me feel that much more complete and proud once it's mine than a stationary encounter. it also gives you something else to do post-game. I wouldn't want to see roaming overused as a mechanic, but for something special like the legendary beasts I will accept the challenge!
